TTT, so if you think Burford will sell out to a Hedge fund or similar, how much do you calculate Burford would get in a settlement, and what is your estimate in the SP with this settlement concluded ?

Wouldn’t mind seeing the 6’s again and is possible , particularly during summer trading, where trading volumes dip. We are also in a very fragile market, where unpredictable forces could drag the market Dow. Anyway I have a war chest ready if we go that low, and if it does dip significantly again before we hear the great news, I do believe this could be the last time we will see the SP at these recent levels.

Not sure how the shorts are activated. Maybe they have a short but only use it when they see an opportunity to move the price down rapidly

Burford Capital is backing a USD $8.8 billion claim by Australian mining company Sundance Resources against the Government of the Republic of Congo and, if required, the Government of Cameroon. The dispute arises out of the Congo Government's expropriation of the mining permit of one of Sundance's subsidiaries in the Sangha region of Congo. Arbitration proceedings have already been commenced in London under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce. Clifford Chance is representing the company.
