Boyzee,
Might be time to calm down a bit rather than throwing every idea under the sun at the recent drop in SP and hoping something sticks.
Have no idea why you have mentioned BNP Paribas, as there is no recent activity on their part.
They reduced their short position on the18th May to 0.37% from the previous level of 0.51%. As ShortTracker do not monitor positions under 0.5%, it is quite possible that this has reduced further. The only thing that is certain is that it has not risen over 0.5%.
When any of the CBHs convert to equity there will be a resulting increase in the number of shares in circulation and an RNS will be released to reflect this and will include the date the new shares will be admitted to the market.
This has not happened.
Och Ziff are almost certainly indulging in some CB arbitrage (long the CB and short the underlying stock), so you would expect their short position to have risen with the rise in the SP. It's not a traditional short, as I explained in a previous post.
I enjoy your comments but maybe it's time to chill out fr the day.
