They have already said they expect a reduction of $8bn by the end of 2026 which is a good start. That would mean net debt of around $27bn at that point. A significant reduction. On that trend, a further ten years would it reduced to a nominal level.

The outlook is very, very strong.

Absolutely it does - all expectations from March guidance exceeded, debt paid down and expected to be reduced by almost a third by the end of 2026. What’s not to like?

Morning all. Provided some sort of plan for paying down debt is announced, not issuing more paper, of course, dilution would be very unwelcome, I think there should be an uptick.

I can’t see why the issued prospectus should affect the share price because it has been set up as a separate LLP, so any downside, i.e. losses, would only be recoverable from the LLP, not the bank itself. All the signs are positive for profits and dividends etc. Sentiment rules, I think, rather than facts and prospects. Shorters will be creaming this! Hope the price jumps and they catch a cold/lose their shirts.

We are just looking at a 7-day SAGA cruise for next month. Anyone ant experiences they can share, good or bad. Only problem for me is that we are 122 miles from Dover which could mean a shared car.

You cannot tell much from “Recent Trades”. Look at the way SETS works.

For each “buy” there is a “sell” and vice versa. More likely the Market Makers behind it.

I agree that this is disappointing, to say the least. Have HMG been dumping again? Or was it HMG shares that were bought back? None of the other banks seem to be quite so down in the doldrums and with higher interest rates now for a while, surely margins must be increasing (along with the default risks, I know).
