Looks like they're happy to hunt both high and low...today they got what they wanted by going low and putting in a double bottom at 127.50 to signal a rise back up. We opened at 136.90 then taken down to 127.50 now back up to 131.50 and the day isn't over yet. Also a pretty even sort of day...£1m sold and £1m bought... Seems to me whatever they manage to get their hands on gets sold. Monday put us 3 weeks away from Results. Now why are they waiting until the very last day this year? These are only Interims and they should pretty much know the numbers by now anyway. Anything materially significant has to be announced immediately so are they expecting something to be agreed/signed/incoming close to the end of September? The next 3 weeks are going to be interesting to say the least.

TBH I don't think any of them have the answers...when you have a situation where Covid can still be contracted and passed on even after being vaccinated then the idea of it ever being stopped is a none starter. They just want to try and reduce serious illness from it in as many as possible.

AgentB..you forget testing is also about data collection too. Many people are now 6 months along from their 2nd doses and for many in the older age groups the effectiveness reduces with time.
Waste water testing is another avenue being looked at/implemented in several countries going forward too and Avacta affimers are very much in on that too through the likes of DeepVerge...so when we talk testing it's not just LFTs.
Stewart Wingate, chief executive of Gatwick airport, said: “The cost of PCR tests remains prohibitive for many and should be replaced by cheaper, quicker lateral flow tests.”
What is the definition of professional use only anyway...an architect with a VAT number is a professional... What if I was a trained tester at a Test and Trace centre but had no VAT number, could I order? If they're only having to provide a VAT number then it just means they are selling to businesses (no qualifications required) not the public.
Is the 'coming soon' for home use customers as its an open website. Govt Depts will, I'm sure, have access to separate contact details for their orders.
'The Medusa tests detailed above and other parties lateral flow tests are now available for purchase by various government departments subject to their demand requirements.'
So does this confirm they are taking orders for the Avacta test(s) or not since they only list their own Saliva test on their site under products?
EGTP...hospitalisations and death from Covid is also questionable. Countries for whatever reason are not necessarily recording death as a result of covid if said person had other medical issues they were already being treated for. I know of one case where symptoms etc were absolutely unmistakably Covid but the doctor would not accept it was Covid and the person was never admitted to hospital and died within a couple of days and he had been double jabbed. Death cert cited other causes and Covid was not mentioned. It was not in the UK but in France.
And what about long covid. I understand its not recognised as its not one thing that can be pinpointed and people are dying as a result of long covid.
Sorry Orphidan...afraid it was a bit of my sad sense of humour... Nothing behind it fact wise...but looking at all the jigsaw pieces we now have in place it's not difficult to see the big picture.
Like you I've been in this game a long time and it's funny how news breaks after a big order fill...haven't come across too many situations where a big order gets interrupted by same...if you get my drift.
