It appears some on here have no clue how funds operate and the regulations behind them, monthly adjusting/balancing etc etc..
Over £50m in convertable bonds @ give away prices taken on by II's who are now looking at some huge profits on their books. Fund managers know these have to be balanced out especially as we drawn close to tax time for many and the strong possibility of further profit growth with near term incoming good news. They will have to realise some or all of their profits to cover losses elsewhere in their portfolio to keep overall fund growth % looking healthy and ultimately to keep their clients happy.

I suspect it all depends what Avacta want out of the Science Day...the more you give the more you get perhaps!!!

NR11...each transaction as you know has a buy and sell part to it. The Buyer Buys and the Seller Sells. A Broker will be Buying and let's say from PI's Selling...Once the Broker has all the shares needed the Broker then Sells and the Buyer Buys...hence this has been worked through. I've just given a very simplistic senario...in many cases it's much more complicated than this. Timing and drip feeding are key as computers and algorithms are involved and there has to be a certain amount of tactics in play...too big or too many buys are one time could result in the SP rising too quickly and visa versa. Some call it market manipulation...well it is to an extent. How do you go about filling a 1.6m order for around the 170 mark when the order is given to you when the SP is at say 180...mmmm what would you all do??? Cummon...let's here your tactical play or would you just say to your client sorry old bean can't do it...

Thank you Matml74...I wonder if said buyer is done or looking to pick up more...if so we might see the SP drop again. Often when orders are filled the price ticks back up quickly but it didn't do that this time...all very positive and just a waiting game from here on in...

This an in human trial and they are getting unexpected and very positive results compared with what??...the in mouse trial which in itself was excellent...jeez guys read and understand...this trial is turning out to be beyond expectation...

These large trades haven't caused the SP to fly or drop because they worked them through during the day in smaller bites.
