The Science Day is not fir BigPharma it's for Investors and Signifucant Shareholders. Any interest from Pharma will be durect and behjnd clised doors or at Conferences/Exhibitions. The Science Day will be to answer questions from said investors/shareholders but to also reassure them that their investment is sound and keep them sweet for further fundraisers.

Wiggly...AVA6000 is the key and will unlock the pipeline. If you open the link and scroll down our partners took on products early doors. Now it all depends on whether or not Avacta want to take the first TMAC (AVA6000 plus Affimer) through trials themselves or whether they will let this go to a Partner/Licencee to take from Research through to Trials.
Somewhere in my grey matter I thought I read or heard Avacta wanted to keep AVA6000 for themselves. If so then they don't anticipate selling the IP but they could as I said still Partner/Licence it on a retained IP basis.

If early Jan is 10th then bets on for tomorrow or Tuesday...Monday is never a good day to put out news and not in Avacta's MO. Fridays...wells it all depends how good the news is and how much they want it to be in the weekend press whereas Tuesdays tends to be more for the trade press and allows for trades for the remainder of the week.

If early Jan wasn't really meant to be specific then we might have to wait up until 15th...

Oh what a guessing game....

If it's really good news then I hope they invest in some good PR to push the news out to both the market press and general press...that's the only way this little sucker is going to get really, really noticed and a sustained run North.

But isn't that just the point it's a delivery system so any big pharma or otherwise with a nasty drug that would benefit from such a system might well licence the technology. Unless Avacta goes down the route of setting up it's own encapsulating business.

OK If early Jan is 1 to 10th and they were being ultra doecufic in the RNS then I hang my hat on 5th or 9th. I'll have a fiver each way on both...

RMFatGB...I would also add 13th in on that too - albeit a Friday (gulp)...I think when they said by mid Jan they are anticipating leaving it to the last minute.

I suspect any discussions with future licencing partners and/or other interest parties (pharma/acquisition prospects) will be done very much behind closed doors and they will have already made themselves known to us and as it's not a closed trial we have possibly already allowed some of them to see some of our early findings/results on a Non-Disclosure basis. The Science Day is something completely different and will be for future funding, general market awareness, shareholder support and to give those who invested in our last fundraiser one on one access to help them justify and to re-affirm their investment and open the doors to further investment as and when we might need it.
I do also think we might see news re another acquisition sometime in Q1 too...just a gut feeling.

Didn't they say or indicate results from AVA6000 trial would 'unlock' the pipeline...TMAC being part of the pipeline. If AVA6000 trials fails then perhaps TMAC would have to be rethought as a concept...
