Dr. Komanduri serves on the United Health Care Oncology Advisory Committee and is a past Chair of the American Society of Hematology Scientific Committee on Host Defense, is the current Chair of the ASTCT Cellular Therapy Committee and Chair-Elect of the Government Relations Committee.'

March 2022 'He has served as chief of the division of transplantation and cellular therapy at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at University of Miami since 2019. He also has served as director of the institution’s adult stem cell transplant program and associate director for clinical innovation.
His research has focused on improving the outcomes of patients undergoing transplantation with blood cancers, as well as the use of immune-based therapies for cancer.

Dx needed money to fund acquisition which immediately brought in a multi million £ highly profitable income stream which the whole compsny will benefit from. The same fundraise has given the whole company a balance sheet boost (cash flow support) and there is money left over which will be used to target another possible acquisition which could be for Dx or Tx...either way it will be targetted and could again be a nice income generator. Add aforesaid to possible new licencing deals for Dx and/or Tx product(s) then I would say the fundraiser will have had a true synergistic effect and will better aline the two sides of the company.

We already have some good licencing deals linked to performance payments...we don't know but perhaps Avacta do, how close they are to receiving more/much larger payments coming through. We also don't know how many of the Launch customer base might be looking to take our affimers and how much that could contribute contract wise. Remember we have lots of diagnostics info from the LFT research which can be shared not just for Covid but other diseases.

I hope you're right but I still think it will be more of an expansion on what they gave us in the last RNS...not anything new altogether and surely it will have to be summerised somewhat in laymans terms won't it. How much 'medical' data/terminology will the invited understand?

Also think too much expectation re Science Day...don't get hope up...I think we'll simply hear much of what we already know and have been told...

Lots of talk about company split buy out etc but what about acquisitions...? That's the route Avacta have said they are taking. They already have a nice cash generator with the purchase of Launch...what's next? How about a RTO to get instant US Listing and/or manufacturing facilities and/or more distribution and/or ????
Far too early to be thinking company split or Buy Out IMHO...

MB53....nah...they cannot withhold or supress market sensitive information to allow a bunch of fund managers entry at a lower price...that IS completely and utterly illegal.
As has been said they will simply cover ground already covered in RNS's but in a little more detail...However, if they release an RNS at 07:00 on 23 Feb giving the wider market a bunch of new info which they then expand on in the recorded meeting which will be available to us too then that's a possibility too.

Exactly RR...the last one was quarterly and this one is a conversion request.
Both were for shares which is what we want to see albeit dilusion for existing holders but will live with that.

To be given market sensitive info they would have beem asked to go INSIDE which means signing and submitting Insider Forms to the company. Not all companies offer this facility during their fundraisers and if Avacta didn't offer it then they would have as much info as we have and will be free to trade.
