Their mates big orders have been filled at these low levels. Go ahead give by broker to the company to now put out an RNS. Price will start to rise to encourage others (PIs mainly) to buy more to soak up any free shares and close out shorts. Trial data news due any of the following days: 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12 or 13 Jan.
All bets then off as to how the SP will react.
Why hold the meeting in Feb so far after data release? Perhaps they hope to get more detail by then and/ or waiting on more info from other sources/partnerships. Could tgey be looking for another acquisition fundraiser based on the target audience.

Price pushed up at end of day but no UT and no late large unknows...mmm! When was the last time we saw that happen...

WHY? Avacta is not social media. You don't have the right to be told everything. There are reasons for confidentiality or timelines when it comes to information sharing. Leaky seive comes to mind especially in this day and age with so many having social media accounts and the advent of PI's on bulletin boards.
The company has laid out their strategy in their online mission statement. For those employees who don't like it...move on or if you think you can do things better then go and set up your own company and I bet you find yourself monitoring what and when you share with others in your company...

They want you to think it's Mr. 10K day trader hence some of the comments yesterday but it's a work through. They have to split the big order(s) into lots of small chunks. They sell a few and then buy a few in these 10K or so chunks to stop the computers algorithms pushing the SP up. Plus the after hours trades are part of the process too. Avacta right now is grossly undervalued and the markets know it. Our recent acquisition (income) and fundraiser (financially security) should have added a shed load to the MCAP but didn't. We are an multi-million £ income generating financially secure company right now...what is not to like. We are liked and someone is loading up.
The clock is ticking and news is a matter of weeks away...maybe days if we factor in other news we are waiting for.
Keep the faith chaps...

Forget Medusa...our latest purchase will give us access to all sorts of manufacturers...

I think it's more about immunotherapy being used with existing cancer drugs. Trouble is with some immunotherapies there isn't an off switch. They can set it going but then have to wait for the body to switch itself off and lots of damage can be done in the meantime.

Note the time gap between these two trades. A 100k buy went thru around 10:30 but not showing...another late reporting coming up this evening perhaps!

Riesgo..'But when will Avacta start making money rather than spending it?' Well they should be making money right now...the new acquisition has a nice profitable bottom line for one.
Companies don't stock pile income they reinvest it so they will always be spending money. For shareholders, the keys are market value and dividends not pennies in and pennies out.
