I am quite confident that Bp is very well placed to adapt to the world of energy , whatever shape it will take. They are looking at the future already. It remains to be seen how much profit solar and wind make vs oil however oil consumption is not going to disappear any time soon. When this current situation is done, oil will re balance and people will be desperate to consume again. Until everybody has a giant solar panel and wind generator in their back garden, companies like Bp will be needed. Confident to buy all day long at this price. My advice would be take this situation as a chance to buy a great company at rock bottom price. In 5 years you will thank yourself.

That was in February, before covid19 had had any effect. The next lot of results won't make such positive reading. Then again, thats why we're now at a tenner a share. There's also a hell of a lot of people who have got or will have had covid19 that the stats will never pick up. How do you know without being tested,if you simply have or have had a bad cold or covid 19?

Actually flight air con is pretty clean, you are not going to get germs through flight air con. More likely as anywhere densely crowded, it's the close proximity to your fellow pasengers. IMHO the media has blown this virus way out of proportion. More people die of flu. Old and vulnerable people die of flu ,as with covid 19 . Whats the difference?. Just wash your hands and steer clear of anyone coughing and sneezing without being considerate of others.
