Of course that is what is happening. Every time we come up to another placing Sandersons will offload in the knowledge that they can buy back at a lower price if they want to. At some point there has to be a reason for holding these shares rather than taking a hit and then buying again at a lower price.

Down 7%. There are some new investors here with a lot of painful learning to come.

And the prize for the most MOUs whilst shareholder value completely disappears goes to ...... The rest is obvious. A bit more land, another year, more focusing, advancing, progressing, continuing, developing, more de-risking and yet still trying to work out how to commercialise the project. Nothing definitive. Same old same old. And the market knows it hence SP.

The new one only lasts 12 months so we are bound to need another one. MOUs mean absolutely nothing. KIBO have proved that to be the case time and time again.

I have to admit I actually laughed out loud when I read that the MOU was basically the same as the previous one. We have now moved on to repeating MOUs. It really is farcical.

All good thanks Dave. I think your 2p is a sensible aspiration. £45m market cap. My dream scenario is £100m and 3 billion shares so 3.3p and that is driven by me then walking away with no loss.

Way too simplistic. This might have the potential to hit the heady heights of say 0.9p in the shortish term so anyone wanting out could get out with 3 times the current amount. 0.9p still makes this a dog of a share and a poor CEO but a sensible investor may well want to pick a better time to get out. There hasn’t been such a better time for a while but it may come.

How do you arrive at £10m?

Discussion always welcome SirG. I, like many, bought into the LC knows Africa and has contacts story. That’s what I saw. What has since been evidenced is that he was no closer to the players than you or I. The Moz story proves that too. Getting on for 18 months ago we were ‘getting close’ to tying up some deals. What happened to them? What happened to MCPP? What happened with Bots? Forget COVID it’s just a never ending story of nothingness. There’s also a big difference between racing ahead and almost going down the pan. KIBO is currently worthless and further placings, if at all possible will decimate it even further. I would love to be positive about LC and the company but after all this time I can’t honestly convince myself there is any substance to LC or KIBO. It feels like a complete sham.

Its pretty difficult to argue that LC has evidenced any form of business acumen or judgement to-date. I don't think he has any plans whatsoever but just takes every day, week, month , year as it comes providing there are enough funds to pay his salary. If we go back 3 years or so he did have plans but he has since realised that he is unable to make anything. and I do mean anything, happen.

Strangely I expect our CEO to have a proper grown up relationship with our ‘world class ‘ (yeah sure, my household accounts are bigger than Shumba’s) partners. That would involve expecting and asking them to comply with statutory reporting regulations. Or is that too much to expect?

I agree JD. That makes LC reckless, clueless and useless IMO. He somehow thinks it’s OK to publish false information on the website. Unbelievable but true.

So at c. 0.3p Shumba thinks KIBO is a sell in March. That says it all really I.e. don't expect anything out of Botswana in the short term to have a positive effect on the SP. shumba certainly voted with their feet.
