TBH I have thought since this pandemic started that we have become a nation of bedwetters, scared of our own shadows. An alternative, which I am also not keen on, is that some bright spark might think of adapting the NHS app which would work, but also could be highly intrusive !
Most people I know would prefer their Doctors not knowing how many hours are spent in the pub each week !

I can't argue with any of that, I've always been nervous of their debt and was grateful, pre covid, when a new Chair arrived and started to pay some off.
Sadly that is no longer likely under current conditions.
So we have to hurry up & wait.

I am inclined to agree with you, plus factors as I see them are an apparently competent BoD, most important, cash in the bank & almost into break even/profitability.
It is of course tiny but does have a name, and it is really, at this price, like buying a call option.
Risky, of course, but I think we do have a better than 50/50 chance here

Indeed so, we trust that when the pubs can properly open again we can see what life will look like in the post Findaly but cum Brains era.
I could use a proper pint now, from my local, I must say supermarket tins (or bottles) doesn't reall cut it for me, just can not wait for some normality to commence.

Since the shares have steadied we are no longer seeing personal predictions of very short term price movements, which to me is a good thing.
Band wagons have never appealed to me, but sensible analysis always has.

Another very strong day, can it last ? In a week we are up from 230 to 278 (or over £11 in the old form), surely they need to pause for breath sometime soon ?
Unless of course someone might be expecting a special dividend shortly, that would be nice wouldn't it ?

I have held these share for a few years, thankfully, & have never known them to buy or sell anything other than for customers or the family who control it.
I am also sure that if they hold any asset on their books for their benefit they are obliged to show it in their balance sheet, so I assume it is a customers holding.
Of course if wrong i'd be delighted !

I did read the notice on pro active site where Jarvis Investment Management holding is down to 2.99% but surely that is simply because they are holding it in their nominee account for a client investor who is the beneficial holder ?
Their Crest a/c is in that name, I know because I use it regularly.
As the Jarvis results were published on their website yesterday why does it not appear in the balance sheet if they are the beneficial holder ?

Looking at their balance sheet it appears very clean, main assets are cash or near cash, I have no clue what this static about Eurasia is all about, spoofers perhaps ?
Main thing is that every so often when they have accumulated too much cash they dish out a very generous special divi, which means that their yield is often much more than as shown in FT, Morningstar etc !

I am with you on this, considering that the Chairman was so delighted, (rightfully so!), about fy 2020 profits of £6.8mill it seems rather remiss of him to forget to mention the possibility of another £100mill knocking around from EUA !
