Can't agree more, the more rules & regs they introduce make it harder & harder for pubs to make a living for their owners/tenants in normal times, let alone in a pandemic.
Why indeed were we vaccinated, or do they suppose that we are all now a nation of bed wetters ?

You could well be correct as there were a cluster of trades at that time, but are HL always so slow in re-investing divis ?
Pay date was over 3 weeks ago, March 18 & i-web re-invested mine on the 19th at 267p, they sometimes even re-invest on the day the divi is paid.

Agree that this wasn't entirely down to split, company at present is in a sweet spot especially with freetrade being floated apparently at double the cap of JIM, which has a well established customer base as opposed to freetrade.
I suspect the family (BoD) saw how well things were going and went for the split to maximise the price rise likely with their trading.
I never understand why people like buying cheaper shares at higher prices, but that is another matter, splits do seem to work.

A sterling run again today, 290/98, 50 trades so far which is high, are they going to break £3 today ?

I have missed your succint comments recently but nice to see a bit of news from Mercia, sadly I don't appear to be a myhealth holder in my eis's with them but it has turned the dial a tad after a quiet time.

Something which is not clever with them is that after cratering the stock price by bolstering AUM in buying Northern VCT's, every dog in the vct kennel raised easy money this year, all the good ones gone by February and Northern ?
Nowhere to be seen sadly no offer in 20/21. Not a great sign to the future and they certainly paid a pretty full price for them too.

Well a reasonable crack at an April fools joke from someone who sold at 50p from memory after puffing them thrice daily at least for some months, so now you can only buy less than half as many as you sold a few months ago for the same money ?
Well that sounds a great idea to me, not.

Agree with you, something must be going on, but I doubt that the "sales" were buys as they were so close to the bid price, however as you can usually only trade by appointment in this stock in any size it certainly gives the impression that they could have been expected, such as MM buying limit orders he had been left.
Be interesting to see what transpires this week.
Another explanation could be the sellers wished to realise CGT loss before end of tax year, but that does not explain the upswing in the price.

Anyone remember when the twitter gang descended on this tub of lard stock puffing as hard as they could in end Jan thru to mid Feb ?
I do very well, one third rate ramper, Fortunato by name , who kept saying it was going to 30p, and most of the rampers thought that because the board were given options to subscribe at 10p had already paid their 10p, where have all these clots (guys) gone ?
Back to Lloyds bank to plead for more time to pay for their losses or have they taken their profits by puffing first timers of AIM into buying an "enticing" stock they knew was a tub of lard ?
I will leave you to make your thoughts known, but the aforesaid ramper accused me of trying to gain a lower entry point !
If he wants to buy low today was surely enticing....
