Considerable focus on current trading and outlook in this inflationary environment - insights on future margins and growth ( which may not be too bullish ). Anyway - colour which shows the team is entirely focussed on trading.

Any corporate stuff will be either cancelled entirely or kicked into the long grass on the basis that the team has to focus on trading.

Definitely nothing on take-privates etc.

Sadly it doesn't appear to be linked to cat food which is moving up with inflation.

Because we know that there’s no relationship between THG and Nasdaq or indeed anything at all in the wider market.

THG lives is a special little bubble of its own where the price goes down when the Algo’s go to work or the Market Makers distort the price and it goes up in those brief moments where reality shines through.

But i really would like it if this chartist c@!p turned out to actually mean something one day…..

What’s the likelihood of this ‘technical’ stuff meaning anything at all? Do you make money using these kinds of indicators?

I agree - it was quite funny.

I was actually talking about what’s been happening in the last couple of months.

And the point still stands - everyone gets super excited and positive when the price goes up a few percent and super depressed and angry when it goes down a few percent. And these daily moves of a few percent mean nothing whatsoever…..

Anyway, today the price is up so everyone is happy and being nice to each other so who am i to complain :)

But it is a bit odd that when the share price goes up people offer reasons for why that’s the start of a massive bull run in the stock……

And when it goes back down, the same people moan about shorters and corrupt analysts etc

When really its probably just about a few trades and the overall market ( eg Nasdaq )

Very odd they haven’t given a date.

Next week seems out of the question - too short notice and Easter weekend.

Following week also not a good week because of Easter Holiday.

So given their normal timetable my bet would be mid week w/c 25th April

220 in November. As it kept falling i decided stop loss if it hit 180 which it did in early Dec so i sold the lot and missed the bounce after that. But in retrospect that was no bad thing.

With these new notes it would be very interesting to see share price targets. Can you see those at all?

But what i don’t get is if the only people manipulated into buying and selling are PI’s then why is there any money in doing that? Seems to me like a load of effort for very little return. That’s why i don’t really buy into this. And actually i think it’s a bit of a dangerous comfort blanket - because if you blame falling share prices of your investments on manipulation, maybe that stops you taking action when you should be……

Not nervous. I am hoping for some decent results and the price to rise. But i am not an idiot who mistakes this tiny little site with its insignificant shareholdings with the market. So maybe that makes me a nobber in your language.

The idea that there is some sort of conspiracy aimed at PI’s is so mad it almost blows many mind. But the idea crops up quite a lot on this site.

If you believe this kind of c$$p please tell us 1. Who are the conspirators , 2. How much money they make from ‘ playing with you’ and 3. Why they bother doing this when they must make so little from it :)

It’s just the market - this stock tends to go up when it’s risk on and down when it’s risk off. And that will probably continue until the results. And then we will have to see what happens after that.

It’s just the market - not some secret society aimed at extracting a offline amount of profit from PI’s!

Fair point Hosai. If it went back to those levels it would be fabulous. And I have never been invested with something going up by that kind of percentage. Happy days if that is the case here - as actually i have a fair amount invested now.

I just think the IPO was massively miss-priced and over-hyped. I think SoftBank followed up with an investment that doesn't look smart ( but again good news for us shareholders getting that level of cash in at that price ) and they negotiated an option which, a few months later, just doesn't make any sense.

That’s why i don't see this at 400p for. Very very long time…….

But having said that, i also think right now its just all speculation anyway. No-one has a clue until we see the actual results and statements on current trading and prospects plus strategy. And i certainly hope that then my perspective proves to have been too cautious.

Look - all these analysts got this share horribly wrong. As did SoftBank. None of their historic targets mean a thing. They simply got overexcited - yes it happens with analysts - and made completely the wrong call. It’s not fraudulent - just poor judgement. And the option means precisely zero now aswell - if ( big if ) SoftBank want to get exposure the option would be completely restructured . So don’t cross your fingers and hope for a reversal back up to 400p or whatever - those days have gone.

We just have to wait till the results. - and then we get more informed targets which reflect all the facts. If they come out at 150p to 200p thats not a bad outcome at all.

Yes - that’s exactly what i said. And that was and remains correct.

So - I didn’t expect a bid - and, to date, there is no bid.

And i suggested people didn’t buy into the hype at 130p.

But the rose-tinted crowd here / the Beta guy / some of the kids ( they don’t train them like they used to ! ) at the FT etc thought there must be numerous PE houses actively circling. Surely one of them could have come up with an offer by now given the deep value the price is trading at? They’ve had almost two months since the rumours broke and they must have been busy at work long before that in order for it to leak ( by chance ) to the Beta guy. What do you / Beta guy / the FT think is making them all so slow? If they hang around too long they might see the price re-rate and they won’t be able to get it at a nice low price. Don’t they realise this? I mean the PE houses which were named are serious outfits - they know how to launch a bid if they want to don’t they? And , come to think of it, where are the merger arbs - if there are all these PE companies circling don’t any of the arbs want a guaranteed profit? What’s wrong with these guys?

Yep - i said there could be no truth in the substance of the rumours at the start of Feb and anyone investing with the hope / expectation of a bid should think twice. And that was nearly two months ago. And you still think i am wrong. These bidders take an awfully long time to get their act together don’t they ;)

But i have still been buying - any 91 and 87 - so i am very much aligned with you in wanting the share price to go up. It’s just that i think there are fewer reasons for that happening than you are hoping .
