RE: £34million in cash.... mcap of £47million. flies on first news.24 Mar 2023 16:33
That assumes that there is good news around the corner. But Angle made it quite clear that is not the case on 5th January. Take note of the comment: ‘ expects 2023 to be a further year of progress for ANGLE in preparation for rapid expansion , whilst recognising this may take longer than previously anticipated’. In other words, AN who has waxed lyrical previously about the huge scale of the opportunity told us in January to wait patiently. And i read that as saying we need to wait till 2024. And if it’s that long away, and with this company’s track record of extreme hype, that sounds flakey to me.
And in the meantime they are burning through that cash you are relying on - even if they have cut costs to extent the cash runway.
No Board wants less than 12 months cash available for very obvious reasons of prudence. So it’s inconceivable that they won’t want to raise equity this year. The problem is from what i read that they are unlikely to have anything of real substance to drive up the share price in advance of that.
This is a very risky situation. If you don’t believe me just look at the share price.
I will not invest back into this until they are funded. If i miss out on a rally because a rabbit is pulled out of a hat, that’s just fine with me. I will happily invest later into a de-risked situation at a higher price.
