Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Hi TomHuk
I listened to the proactive thing with what i hope was an open mind.
But it seemed to me the same hyping approach is alive and well.
He leads with saying 140,000 patients each with 3 time points with each time point being worth at least £2,000 to Angle.
So you add that up and he’s saying there is potential for £840m revenues just from AZ. I mean - really?
You will remember he threw out similar kinds of numbers when he talked about Eisai. So just from these two there’s potential for £1.6 BILLION of revenues. Incredible.
Then he offers forecasts of perhaps more sensible figures of £2-£5m and £5-£8m i assume in the not too distant future - 12 to 18 months maybe?
I really don’t know how anyone takes this company seriously.
I just think the way he talks makes this uninvestable for anything other than day trading.
Clearly it’s a dead duck on AIM - he needs a lot of money by 1H 2025. I simply can’t see any institution investing behind him and his FINANCIAL track record.
Maybe he will be able to do a Redx and go off market with private investment support. If so, i might join in and would hope to do so at a fraction of today’s price as i was able to do in that situation.
I have made my own mistakes believing in purveyors of miracles - recently a big mistake with Destiny. Whatever happens to the price in the next few days / weeks ( and i do assume it will spike strongly ), my head tells me it’s one to continue avoiding. But good luck with your investment.
Hi TomHuk
Yes that is most certainly large pharma. But it’s a pretty puny deal. Nonetheless - yes that’s progress.
In fact to me it’s bigger news than the January news - but the punters are beginning to see the Emperor’s new clothes for what they are. So the share price appears not to be spiking in the same way - but maybe it will over the next 48 hours.
BTW - it did spike and drop last time didn’t it?
You tempted to build your position?
£150k is hopeless.
However, i get how this plays out.
So i reckon this will hit 25p-30p on news like this.
But then we will come back to where we started.
Money to be made if you are brave and quick!
IMHO
Sounds very sensible EC.
If he starts to make material sales at last - happy days. One can live in hope but once bitten - twice shy. And here we have been bitten multiple times.
Morning EC
I agree - it appears to be good progress in capabilities.
But the issue - that even you will admit - is that Newland has offered lashings of jam tomorrow dozens of times before. And he has never delivered material revenues. So i think what you saw yesterday is that even the rampers have lost interest - the spike / drop history is so undeniable now that people don’t want to risk their cash anymore.
So all that means is - deliver some actual sales Mr Newland.
Nice to see some progress EC. Agreed.
But he needs to sell some! That is where he needs to show a bit of progress.
Seems that even the rampers can’t be bothered to react to Newland anymore. Interesting.
The problem is that their appalling communication ( and i mean by that the very poor quality RNS’s that they have issued this year ) have totally undermined credibility and, therefore, the share price.
So let’s say you are right and this pharma takes a £10m equity stake. With a market cap of £18m that’s a dilutionary disaster for shareholders.
I really fear these guys are showing the sort of arrogance we have witnessed at Angle for anyone who has followed that disaster.
Sadly not.
I must admit i have called this wrong. I thought Rudd was still a serious person and would have a serious team. Seems i made a mistake.
The hopeless RNS’s earlier this year were a clear sign these guys were well out of their depth.
Ok thanks EC.
So that says - full approval in the US for Breast cancer. No restrictions. Good.
And it says use for all other cancers restricted to drug trials.
Is that correct?
Isn’t that what TG2D has been saying or am i missing something?
TG2D - now you mention it i remember that. Word soup. Absolutely he was vague. I wonder why.
Miavoce - the question is what specific statements can you source direct from Angle that supports your view? I think you might struggle.
I absolutely don’t know the answer to this question of what precisely Parsortix can be used for ATM - but given the history of this company that certainly raises a question or two.
Hi Miavoce
Commercially - i agree. Shareholders do not need to understand in order for Newland to close some deals.
But it’s a point of basic communication. Why not make it totally clear to your shareholders? I mean if it is as you think, allowing this confusion is just id1otic when you would think you need a strong share price for an equity issue in due course.
And the fact that Newland hasn’t closed any significant deals ( yes i do know about the $250k Eisai ) raises questions doesn’t it ?
The fact that this confusion exits is symptomatic of the failures of communication of this company.
It should be crystal clear from Angle’s communications exactly what can and cannot be done today and what that means commercially. It should be very simple to spell this out.
I admit to being confused on this point.
It’s very basic and very important.
