...no point getting all excited about it, there could be any number of reasons for removal, excess to requirement, cleaning, straightening, refurbishment prior to (re)installation for use, scrap ... they've been stolen ... don't panic Mr Mainwaring 😂

...not me, I would do if I was closer but have to make do with stirring from a distance & waiting for the results - for which I have my fingers crossed this year 🤞🏼 ... again !!

...banks aren't interested in taking positions in small risky AIM CO's ... they wouldn't risk the potential losses.... They'll wait until there's something viable to secure loans against, then make their money from the interest charged on a loan or by taking control of the assets when the company collapses for any reason .... No I don't see any bank BNP or otherwise taking a risky punt on an AIM minnow ...especially one with the history we've got ...

...these are financing & loans, not taking a chunk of the company & as I understand it if they exercised control over sufficient shares whether held in their name or not they'd be obliged to announce it ... as I've already said my Shystergas & 🐂💩 alarms are both twitching & I hope they're both false .... & I really hope we manage to vote down resolution 5 at least if not 4 as well - although I have hopes for 5 (especially now with our new 'single sophisticated investor'!!! who'll presumably vote with the BoD having already garnered a cheap chunk of shares .... fingers crossed...

... indeed that's as I understand it too .... unfortunately I can't turn off the shystergas alarm I've got going off in my gut at the moment - fingers crossed it's a false alarm!!!

...yes it always was 'active' or at least was when I checked a week ago when I first noticed them 😂 a company can exist and be both active & Dormant and infinitum providing all the required filings kept up to date ... looks to me like it doesn't do any business activities as such but simply exists as a name to hold assets under without being the beneficial owner of them....

@TC they're still showing as a 'Dormant company' under the 'nature of business' section at the bottom of the page here:

You can also do a Google search on why an 'active" company can be shown as dormant and any variations thereof ... 🤔

Think number 4 below might provide the answer:

Examples of Dormant Companies:

1 Newly formed companies: Companies registered with Companies House but haven't started trading yet.

2 Companies that have ceased trading: Businesses that have stopped all trading activity and have no further income.

3 Flat management companies: Those managing flats within a building.

4 Companies holding assets or intellectual property: Companies that are not actively trading but hold assets or intellectual property.

5 Companies restructuring or pausing trading: Those temporarily ceasing trading activities without closing down.

....actually there's 3 HL accounts listed TC ... I suspect a Trading an ISA & a SIPP account ... the II ones are easier to differentiate as they have sub denominations attached to them but that'd be my guess anyways ...

.... it all just smells a bit ... the delay ... the disappearance of the warrants that were to be voted on at the AGM ... the apparent confusion of who might be hiding behind Lynchwood ... it all just whiffs a bit .... firmly standing behind decision to vote AGAINST resolutions 4 & 5 ... hopefully there's sufficient others who feel the same 🤞🏼

..the last & worst change I can recall was in relation to that Mexican loan Fiasco just prior to us trying to screw BCN over IMO ... you know the one where KM claimed he was unaware that our Board (of which there's 4 people & he's one!!) were going to make a takeover bid of BCN - jokers IMO

....you'd like to think that having announced in an RNS there was a raise occuring with a single 'sophisticated investor' if it suddenly wasn't they'd be obliged to advise any changes in that respect .. . but maybe not eh!! .... I see Lynchwood nominees are suddenly at the top of our significant shareholders list - not sure I've noticed them before but who knows 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hmmm ...potentially a fund manager who potentially can be exempt up to a 10% holding however a sovereign wealth fund is not exempt from TR1 notifications so definitely not the latter...

...good question ... Perhaps Tokra can ask at the AGM who the 'sophisticated investor' is or was & why no TR1 ... am beginning to think that perhaps we were simply misled or misinformed!!

.... by "across the line" a sale for GOOD value is precisely what I mean...then I'll be out like a flash before they find something to blow it all on - but hopefully if they sell it a dividend will follow ... or better still dish out whatever EG1 shares they have left to us along with the cash in line with holdings & place the company on maintenance - with a potential future payout if they ever receive anything in regard to Sonora....

...as I've said on many occasions - years & years away from resolution IMO & Ganfeng have a lot more clout & resources than we'll ever have ... 🤷🏼‍♂️
