Indeed @EV - now if the announcement had been about authority for a specific 'interested party' (like our unknown (cough cough) investor buying in for the equity amount rather than just throwing shares & warrants like confetti at short term money grabbing investors that'd be very different ...

...which is why there is such a thing as an 'underwritten' raise ...which is where they have someone in the background willing to take up the slack that existing shareholders don't exercise their rights over ...yes it'll increase the time required to complete ... this is just the company & their brokers locking out anyone who has a vested interest in success & handing over a big lump of the potential proceeds to short term traders (who I have no issue with - but it's our turn now IMO)

...it's not about what 'required' @ witty ... they have asked to raise up to £1M at the nominal which could be over another 100M shares .... we managed to gain a little control over the dilution by voting against the disapplication rights at the AGM - which they are now attempting to undo in one go .... if they just wanted sufficient authority to cover the 10-15% that'd be one thing - but yet again we face getting a shed load of dilution at their whim .... Just not on in my opinion - & it'll need to be improved for me to change my voting ....

Absolutely no need for this in my opinion & not at the level they're requesting ....

a)why don't they dip their hands in their own pockets & exercise their options if it's that nailed on that be close to 10-15% o. It's own!!

b) why don't they ask for the ability to disapply a more realistic amount a a special resolution ... £500k which is half the potential dilution & then offer to place with existing shareholders?

c) Why haven't they attempted an underwritten placing - just so they can provide further opportunities for the usual suspects to reap the rewards of yet another discounted placing 😡

Having said that I will wait to see whether the definitive agreement is signed prior to the last voting date & what that does to the SP - if not I see absolutely no reason why my vote wouldn't be exactly as it was at the AGM & wait to offered the opportunity to partake by rights.

Nothings off the table ... from our unknown (cough cough) partner not liking the assay results & walking away through to them liking them so much they offer buy us or the whole Amapa asset kit & caboodle - which could indeed lead to a suspension & shareholders might need to vote on any offer anyway .... IF such an offer is made .... personally I think (& hope at the bottom end) that the extremes are less likely - how long the assay results take will depend on when they were submitted for testing & I'm very much hoping & thinking that they would have been in hand & submitted some time prior to the HoT announcement as they've been talking about it for a lot longer - hence my hope the definitive agreement will be within this month ....

..as usual though it's just my thoughts & you can assess for yourself how realistic that might be 😂

.... that's why whenever there's a change in the bid/ask at the moment it triggers a flood of bot trades at the top & bottom...

BoT trades at the top/bottom of the BoD ask .... best ignored IMO but if they worry you act as you feel best ....

No ... if/when they're exercised we'll get an RNS ... all these trades are the recent placees & traders who bought in sub 2p -all taking very decent profits .... that's the fallout from issuing countless shares in ever decreasing circles, the lower it goes the more you have to issue for decreasing returns & the more that will get sold into any rise ... this HoT RNS has facilitated a significant sell off for profit - but now we've got shareholders looking for higher returns when the definitive agreement lands & longer term holders purchase further for the longer term rewards that the certainty brings.

In reality the existing LTH like myself & a few others are few & far between - this share has been. Hostage to short term traders cashing in on any rise & suppressing any rise for years - ably assisted by some not so clever investments ... as I've said before Amapa is the last chance saloon IMO & to be fair, apart from some very short sighted & misleading claptrap regarding timeframes has progressed well from where it started so credit where it's due for that at least ... hopefully it's only a matter of time & I've got my fingers crossed that the definitive agreement is signed just as soon as (within this month hopefully 🤞🏼)

@ jimb ... we have a 'conditional' offtake announcement.... conditional on Assay results that our unknown (cough cough) investor deems satisfactory enough to throw $4.6M into the pot for .... fingers crossed & hopefully that's just a tick box exercise & the market reacts appropriately once the definitive agreement is signed ...

In previous announcements the sum for licensing, permits, refurbishment etc etc to get Azteca up & running was $3.5M ... however the HoT is for a buy in of $4.6M + our required % - so why the increase from $3.5M to +$5M ???

It would be a good signal/sign from the BoD if all or at least some of our required % input was funded by the total conversion of their 2p options which at the current RoE would realise nearly $400K

Just need that definitive agreement signed, then we should see some good positive action, I still reckon now's a good time to get in if you fancy the gamble - still no guarantee yet but I really think it'll be unlikely to get in at this price again once (& of course IF) that definitive agreement is signed ... just my thoughts as usual 🤔

I started coming down in lumps of 100k to get an accurate sell price that wasn't NT then had to switch to lots of 10k & finally got a quote for 30k - was hoping for better if there was any demand there but no & the wait goes on ...

... same here MrsB ... this getting older lark certainly comes with it's challenges, keeping fingers crossed that Amapa delivers sooner rather than later...take care of yourself & the family x

..tue lockup period ended earlier this year & I reckon we've already sold out our initial shareholding as was partially evidenced in our recent EG1 RNS ... probably to pay off debt & yes we're going to need funds soon - just keeping fingers crossed that we get the definitive agreement signed beforehand - however as earlier stated because AGM resolution 5 failed existing shareholders (which is why now might be a good time to buy in for newbies) get first dibs on any new shares issues (which could be via an underwritten raise), unless they request an GM for us to vote through a 3rd party placement ... also as indicated earlier there aren't that many metals trading, shipping, logistics co's headquartered in the UK with 100 years plus - but if it isn't in the RNS then maybe it's not wanted to be publicised .... Yet!!

Still hoping for a sale ultimately & soon - but ready to wait if needs be & consider partaking in any fundraise when the time comes - fingers crossed this doesn't fail the test to get a definitive agreement signed & soon - then we can really sit & wait with a degree of confidence that at least Azteca will deliver ....

..but a new 5p party might be on with the definitive agreement IMO
