as to whether we'll ever see returns from mining Sonora in a way I hope you're right Kiran has said Sonora's worth $200M to us previously I'd be happy to see Ganfeng buy it out from us for $150M or even $100M perhaps a little (but not much) less depending on what we need the money for at the time ... anything short of that I'd consider a sell out personally :-))

..... TC .... with manganese being a by product it's likely it would take some time to build sufficient stocks to warrant a vessel ....as you know there are other iron producers that may well have accrued sufficient stocks over the last couple of years to facilitate this shipment....

No I certainly don't think we could ship the ore anyway .... for a start it's not ours & we don't own anything yet.

The Ore is under the control of the courts & others (banks) have legal rights to claim it should they choose to exercise them .... the courts had ruled to permit the shipment of some which facilitated negotiations coming to an agreement as far as I'm concerned negating the need to enforce the ruling permitting shipment ....... but was that agreement in principle simply another ploy by the bank to secure further delays .... Time will tell.

Don't think for one minute that I've changed my views on anything I've said historically though I meant & still feel exactly the same, just that I'm on board with the Amapa deal ..... if/as/when it finally progresses .... & if not or without us we get our $2.5M back ... that might even be sufficient to settle mist of what remains if that poor/farcical/unnecessarily large CLN with the Mexican mob we got involved with .... although It now seems to sit under the remit & control of one of our other board members ..... how's that for having your hand in two cookie jars at the same time LoL :-))

.....you may well be right regarding environmental sign off .... regardless of whether it was an obstacle placed in our way, a simple sign off or the Port wanting assurances they wouldn't/couldn't be held liable or responsible if they permitted the shipment of ore that was still the subject of legal process, dispute &/or all the above .... either way we're still waiting for news of a signed contract against an agreement in principle ...... whose to say that the agreement in principle wasn't given by the banks simply to delay shipments further & they're now holding back on signing it because they're still not happy that an AIM minnow with our history (or some other aspect) being involved.

Time will tell ..... I also have been wondering recently whether some / all of many of the large late reported trades isn't related to the forward selling of the next placing (as well as a couple of rollovers thrown in) ..... time will tell on that too.

Red sky here too at the moment to reflect the sale @ 10.60..... anyhooo .... personally & in my opinion I don't think the 'imminent' thing that Obs refers to has happened now because when the agreement with the banks was announced, I believe it paved the way for a natural solution to shipping ore within the JRP instead of getting court/legally sanctioned authorisations to move it whilst there was still legal processes/objections ongoing .... consequently with the agreement I don't think it remained necessary to force it.

Odd that I'm no longer the one citing numerous historical failures, poor decisions, choices of actions & 'friends' (in my opinion) & stamping about on the table but instead just waiting for news whilst watching others do it instead .... makes me chuckle some.

Jimb..... that's always been the case, I remember years ago there was a lot of noise & reshuffle over the Mexican govt threatening this, that & the other & at that time they stated that it would only impact New & not existing/granted permits & licences .... it was (& remains as I know) the reason that the MEXILIT licences are still not properly & fully finalised .... they said it was too big & we're talking about carving it up into smaller areas last I heard..... don't recall seeing anything indicating that has changed.....

why don't all the posters who don't appreciate the general chit chat, pleasantries, puns & passing of time on this board use the pretty much unused KDNC.PL chat board instead & stop filling up this board with their misery & loathing of those who've also got better or other things to do than continually moan about what's posted here by others ..... guaranteed you'll get bored & return ..... but then I guess there are also those who've got little better to do than moan & comment about what others might find amusing or interesting & it's the only way they can get noticed .... like the child whose naughty cos it's the only way to get attention.
