afternoon people. On Sunday I emailed Verditek regarding the articles published by TW.

Today I received a reassuring response from RR himself. To me, this shows real shareholder centricity and a real desire to maximise shareholder value.

I will not share the email, there is obviously no price sensitive information within it but there is a clear focus on 'growing a world class business'

Since RR has joined Verditek there has been excellent direction and significant progress towards achieving this.

Looking forward to the future here as I feel it is looking very positive.

The move is not even based on anticipated news. More like a recorrection of the MCap based on new leadership, funding and regime. Why should this not be in line with sector peers

But when is the target price date ?

Based on profits of £70mln per annum from Uksmouth and their assets and other revenue generation i would think the .arket value of SAE would be much greater than circa £375mln in 3 years.

Rise could also be due to a close in the disparity between sector peers. Market seeing VAL changes as positive and a business now ready to move forward.

And potential to hear something about BC201 Covid treatment.

Start thinking a little more positive. At worst you are now gaining back some of the losses. New leadership focus seems to be on shareholder value. It will obviously take some time to regain the trust of some existing investors that have been burnt by the prior set up. Hence the current disparity in MCap perhaps ?

Correct me if I am wrong but that article assumes £34mln profit from exporting energy from just the first 110mw conversion. The full 220Mw conversion will be double that?

So £68mln in profits per annum plus profits from tidal power MeyGen project within 2 - 3 years when considering full conversion.

Anyone care to estimate an MCap based on those figures 3 years down the line ?

Forgetting the old VAL, they are now a new business as far as I am concerned. Until the MCap is comparable to the sector any rise without news is easily justifiable.

Someone used SAR as a comparator on ADVFN. MCap is £30m. VAL have a big correction before achieving that.

250Mw per annum operational target by 2021 although due to splitting Uksmouth into 2 x 110Mw conversion projects maybe push this back to 2022 whilst revenue from the first 110Mw conversion will be sooner.

1000Mw or 1Gw of projects at various stages.

Very large hedge against an upward moving SP.

We had the same last week with Spreadex. Considerable upside (longs) , with little down side (shorts) to offset against each other. As they feel most or a large majority will be betting long they buy a large holding themselves to cover or hedge against the lack of offset.

Very positive in general if only to identify an assumed SP direction.

VAL only have 54m shares in issue.
