What someone is willing to pay is based upon information available to them such as sector peers and as valuefinder has pointed out, product in the case of VAL

At the moment this is probably the one share which is presenting the best immediate value of my whole portfolio. Thats because we could continue with a significant rise from here based on nothing. In the medium term there is still plenty which could propel the SP higher still.

I am sure there must be a few accumulating a position. 3% is just 1.6m shares or roughly 250k at this price. Nothing really.

Surely just someone actually bought a dummy buy. In reality their 1 trade cost them 15p plus trading costs. However much I would like to see them get a return on that 1 trade its highly unlikely unless the SP hits about £12.

Investing in companies like Verditek should provide a little protection. Its unlikely that there will be growth in certain sectors but some sectors such as renewables should have a great future.

The growth of Verditek could be exponential as the market for diesel replacement is penetrated and customer catch on to the benefits of the Verditek PVs.

The solar in a box is genius. It means that panels can be easily transported and rolled out at the convenience of the end user. Space permitting of course.

Malenko. Maybe you won't break even. You never know. But you may exist VAL at a much higher price than it is currently. Better than cutting your loss here and investing in something that may only rise 10% with your loss. What you have currently in VAL may be worth many multiples in the not to distant future.

On AIM that is

£2 per share. That would be nice. Not unrealistic and has certainly happened before.

DW. I think you're right. At this stage in the game it would be much more positive for AFC to communicate. A monthly progress update would be good or there becomes the same news vacuum as we have seen time and time again.

I truly believe they are working hard to secure deals and that they are coming. We should be amidst a transformational period after the fundraise. It would be nice to keep sentiment positive and provide updates accordingly.

Stakeholder communication is key to succesful leadership.

Am I right in thinking that VAL will be aware of the trial results which closed late 2019 early 2020. It is the results which are now being assessed independently and will publish headline results once verified and Q3 ?

skaffen. Just shows how unloved VAL have been. Probably due to lacking shareholder consideration and value. Now under new leadership and strategy VAL look to be a long way off fair value based in advanced oncology trials and a COVID treatment.

Perhaps £42 is a long way off or a little unrealsitic but so is 15p at the other end.

I would like to see faster progress. It doesn't mean that they (AFC) are not working to achieve further sales. I check every morning for the RNS we are all waiting for. It will come. AB said as much in one of the later RNS's.

They have raised £31.6m and are now not only recruiting for staff to increase manufacturing capacity, they will be placing orders for materials and components, physical manufacturing and number of systems (sold or not) in anticipation of sales for immediate delivery, working on Alkamem, working on the solid system and gaining CE approval.

I wish they notified the market with progress updates, but they don't. Having invested in other companies that do its possible to see a marked improvement in sentiment when there is sufficient transparency.

Frustrating as it may be AFC have always been this way and need to improve but it does not change the fact that they will be working very hard in the background to manufacture multiple 20kw and 160kw systems including that for Acciona for deployment in the next 12 to 24 months. Why build them if they have no place for them to go. I expect that there are systems being designed that include the use of solar, batteries and electolysers which must go through more than just a nod and a wink from procurement.

£50m MCap for pharma's at these advanced stage trials may not be unrealstic. That would relate to just under £1 SP. You have highlighted the value in the current SP. I am just thinking of the psychology is investors and how realistic it is to by market correction alone.

If VAL could achieve that at least it you could say its fair value in anticipation of multiple positive trials data.

Vicjain. I agree with that. Although 30p is still only £15m MCap, perhaps 40p is a more realistic SP and MCap for the time being.

Same multiple target when you look at other pharmas. Any significant tie up with a big pharma and there is no real limit with only 52m shares in issue (rising to 60m ish after warrants)

nomlungu. What a great time to invest. What your saying is no different to the majority of AIM listed companies yet other companies in this sector are valued much higher.

VAL now has a list of products at various stages and assessment and are starting to attract interest as we have seen with our Japan connection and BC201.

slow is best. You can see from the trades that there are positions being built. It would be much better to hit 30p by month end than today. However exciting it may be, the only outcome is a spike.

VAL has potential to be worth much more just on natural correction.
