Wololol, I noticed that after I bought in. I also found that quite positive but wasn't a reason for my purchase. Just hopefully confirms a trend change which has been down for a very long time. At some point, if the company are transforming from a nothing entity to something that could be potentially a very good business.

Its very quiet here. bought in to two companies like this prior to ITX which were also quite. Its a good time to arrive. I suspect others will start to catch on shortly.

Having seen the performance over the last few years it would put you off. If I had looked last year I would not have touched it. The recent fundraise was oversubscribed and the cash injection was needed to allow them to transform the business and become a commercial entity. I feel they are now crossing the bridge from R&D to commercial. They have already secured significant contracts with large organisations such as Croda. I expect these orders will grow and new customers that were approached 2 to 4 years ago will start to place orders.

They have made projections based upon enquires and samples issued. They must know the strike rate and therefore it is pretty clear that revenues will grow at a rate of 100% compounded year on year to the estimated $25m in 2023.

If they can achieve the estimated $4.5m in 2021 I would expect at that point they would have passed breakeven. That's good going for an AIM listed company.

Also plenty of value in the IP protected by patents.

Really like this company now it is back on the up No denying they have had a difficult time getting here but it is very possible that the corner has been turned, hence the reason I felt the timing was just right to buy in.

With a £7m MCap and projected revenues of $4.5m for 2021 and breakeven point some time next year (medium term) there is much more upside potential than downside risk.

Just needs a few more to realise this through researching the prospects of the business from here going forward

I have read somewhere that it was 12 patients. The trial was extended to allow them to increase the dosage size i believe. There were no side effects in the initial study so from what I understand the dosage was increased to determine if a greater impact on the disease could be found. Reading the VAL201 RNS pre extension they appear to be very positive hence why they may have applied for approval to extend the study at the phase 1/2 trial to determine maximum dosing

Yes, why not ? They have applied to list shares to issue shareholders as warrants are exercised. They clearly believe the SP will remain above 15p.

This isa very exciting time. VAL will have 4 products which are all on the verge of moving forward and have well over £2m cash in the bank, whilst the business model is to use PSVs for funding trials reducing VAL overheads, seeking funding which can be used by the PSV for VAL PM support.

Still a very long way of sector peer valuation. To be even close the SP could treble from here to reach just fair value before VAL201 headline data is released.

its not good to have all your eggs in one basket. I had done that for far too long with AFC. Still invested and still waiting for its transformation. It will happen but its been a long wait.

There is benefits to having your money in several companies. I tend to hold about 4 or 5 different shares. Only AIM now, so relatively high risk but with a bit of hard work and analysis you can derisk as much as possible.

Interesting little addition to the portfolio yesterday was Itaconix (ITX). Have been on a long down trend as they go through R&D. Now seeing exponential revenue growth in a large addressable market, cashed up and coming off the bottom of the curve.

However, VAL is currently my most exciting prospect right now.

Does it matter ? Spreadex are not an investor they are a bookie. At below 3% since the 7th August, I very much doubt that they would have any left if they were selling out completely.

3% holdiing in Val is only 1.6m shares, we have been trading circa 6m a day since last monday. What spreadex have left is insignificant unless they accumulated more since te 7th and have yet to notify. However, they are not looking for long term investment, just simply short term gain and move on.

Lets be honest. A company should at least be worth the value of its net assets.

Do we really feel that the value of VAL's current IP is only £8m ? Absolutely not

What is the value of VAL201 after successful completion of phase I/II trials ? A lot more than 8m

What is the additional value of VAL201 in respect of COVID 19 licencing for hyperimmune patients ? We don't know but could be considerable if there is a positive response. Data from VAL201 trials will be used, which is very interesting !

VAL301 and VAL401 also add value, how much ?

Adding this all up will present an asset value many multiples of todays market valuation.

The market will value it just like it did with SNG a few weeks back.

And yes, £8m MCap will be more laughable than it is today

Mer400. Thank you for that. I am not a scientist. What you have said is very interesting. I had read about the lack of side effects and hadn't considered what additional benefits there may be. If this can be given earlier and its stops the spread of the disease it would be, as you say 'worth a fortune'

The reason I ask is because as VAL are the IP owner the VAL201 will become very valuable.

This is how these Pharma's work. They take several years to develop a product base and validate it in the market. During this time they have to survive and therefore complete numerous placings to keep them going.

VAL are now at the inflection point and have several drigs at advanced stages with sufficient capital to keep them going. The new strategy is to use SPV's to take projects forward whilst VAL will provide project management. These SPV's will add value to the product portfolio and ultimately the MCap of the business.

VAL201 may be a very valuable product to VAL in respect that it has multple applications

ST. Apparently their are not many prostate treatments around like VAL201. At what stage would a major pharma company start looking at these types of drugs. The next phase is II/III, so if the stage we have just completed is attractive is it likely that some much bigger interest may come looking for this and take it through the following stages to market ?

Would also be very interesting to hear how VAL201 is performing in respect of BC201 treatments for hyperimmune patients. The VAL201 seems to present a number of opportunities for the business.

Have you considered that what you are looking at may be only an indication of buy and sell.

The trade prices going through on the 15 minute delay when the spread was 17.00 - 17.50 were 17.22p and 17.05p.

I would suggest that the spread was not exactly right and buys have been going through at 17.22p or below the mid price therefore indicated as sell.

Spread has now changed on 15 minute delay. Get a grip sharehunter3 and stop panicking
