The reason I don’t think the processing plant will be extended is the coming of AI efficiencies to the plant. I’ve been researching the science of PhotonAssay for sometime and someone prompted me this morning about Newmont taking up the science of photoessay for their lab work.

AI will be used from exploration right through the processing procedure finally and with the tailings.

Apparently can give 1-3% extra recovery rates and knock costs downwards . Speeds up the procedure.

Novo Resources at Beatons Creek are using it already near the Panorama licence , they are saying “it’s a real winner for us”

Would be a game changer at Telfer.

We have the third biggest plant in Australia so I don’t think we need a bigger plant. Modification of one sort or another to modernise it maybe.

Definitely don’t need a plant at Havieron, I don’t believe the government would wear another tailings pond but it might happen if big things are found at Telfer.

Remember the haulage is taking ore to Havieron and bringing tailings back for paste plant. We would still need those tailings even if there was a plant at Havieron, there wouldn’t be enough tailings of the right consistency for the back filling operation.

The talk of spending the FCF on divis or Havieron is very premature in my opinion. There’s so much to do at Telfer:-

The cutbacks will need big quantities of waste movement to get at them, some mounds at surface need remodelling.

New ventilation shafts for the WDD and fans.

A$20m to get to the WDD.

Loads of infrastructure to get to the Main dome underground.

Tailings dams will need lifting continuously.

Loads of other things to do.

Use other people’s money to pay for Havieron. The loan is written for Havieron not Telfer.

When you look at the images on the Presentation and previous RNS you can expand and see the infrastructure, the reserves etc knowledge are moving away from these infrastructures requiring extra costs. There’s years of work to carry out especially the sub level caving operation and WDD production drives etc.

Just makes sense to use the banks money and pay it back in a few years for Havieron and keep a large pot in the bank incase of untoward things happening.

Telfers mine life officially covers to June 28 but there’s a lot more to come.

The latest image showed on “X” three rigs drilling on the West Domes shoulder , no doubt testing the inferred resource in the next extension phase. These workers have been asked to do extra overtime so there’s certainly an urgency for their information to formulate a sustainable mine plan.

The current stages 7 and 2 have 154mt of ore to process but that includes inferred. The mine life is only based on reserves and indicated.

Ggp are quoting 17.3mt to be processed in 2026 and again in 2027 so that’s only 34.6mt. That’s 9 years to process the 154mt not leaving any room for ore from anywhere else.

This 9 years is likely to spread out to 20 by the time Havieron and West Dome Deeps start. What about other areas like the possible 46mt in the Main Dome pit, the continuation of the SLC, the ESC, the VSC.

The mind boggles could be 30 years at Telfer 🤷‍♂️

Doyezee why ask that question on here, I’ve absolutely no interest in Solgold, Ggp are way way more advanced and earning money.

I could see Solg taking years to get to production and it’s taken longer than I originally thought.

Ggp have only just got Telfer and still finding their feet.

We have a processing plant and infrastructure to cater for 2 huge mines both of which look to have 20 year mine life’s.

Your thoughts seem to be the exact opposite of what Shaun was suggesting on Tuesday night. He likes the London market and AIM aligns nicely with the ASX are his words. It makes no difference which market you hold your shares in.

The licence Telfer Domain north of Strickland has been surrendered.

Antipa have applied for the eastern half of it.

Was only 2 days ago.

The euphoria it generated quickly stifled on here by waffle and nonsense.

shows :-

0 tons

0 ounces

0 mine life

Slide 20 shows Mine life outside of the 2 year mine life extension

Main Dome Open pit on slide 20 (rough dimensions)

2,000m long x 30m wide x average 250m deep = around 45m tons

If the grade makes 0.6 g/t = c800koz

At least 2 years mine life.

Note 6 states well understood mineralisation.

51.6% includes nearly 5% of HBos and Barclays that’s your shares.

The audience last night was asked for a show of hands who had bought more recently the vast majority are still buying.

The youngsters I met last night are holding on for the future.

Shaun was talking about the development drilling, saying how disjointed the approach to mine planning for the Main Dome Underground had been. They’ve accelerated the excavation for the development drives which can be see in the presentation slides by careful planning. This will result in further Ore Resource increases from the Underground as work progresses.

He reiterated his thoughts that the recovery rates for the stage 7 cut back in the West dome pit will be lower due the oxides so gold recovery will be more in line with previous guidance rather than the fantastic first quarters ores. These were spurred on by changes throughout the mill to achieve higher recovery rates from fresh sulphide ore.

Before the Admissions document came out I didn’t know what to think about what was left. I was discussing it with my friend Goldworm over a pint in our local ( a respected geologist in Australia) he didn’t say many words to me at the time but said “there’s still a shed load at Telfer”. 🙂

I started researching and Goldworm and Paddy were feeding me with old reports and some I found.

My thoughts changed to think there’s still a lot there.

The West Dome Deeps RNS came out in February confirming some of my thoughts that I shared beforehand at our meetings in Theale, Stroud and Derby. I could see that the West Dome wasn’t just about the Deeps , it was about the mirror image of the Main Dome and over 20 years of gold extraction.

Shaun confirmed this last night he was talking about the 2 years of mine life for 2026/2027 and then Havieron, 2028 becomes a defining forecast for 2029/30. Meanwhile Telfer will continue to expand, the ESC there’s still quite a bit more to come, the West Dome Deeps is the prize and then the mirror image of the Main Dome ie bulk caving, stockworks reef works.

I never expected yesterday to turn out to be so good from starting with an ice cream from a Rolls Royce in Hyde Park and a young girl feeding a parakeet on her hand. A heron walked passed her unnoticed 🙂.

I knew about 12 would turn up to the Cheshire Cheese but never expected over 30.

News started feeding through that the venue would be opening from around 6pm. A buzz started when Shaun was said to be arriving around 8pm.

There must have been 60-70 people there a fantastic turnout for an event that may not have happened.

Then Shaun arrived to a fantastic round of applause still in his travelling hoody he gave a resounding Presentation full of confidence for the future.

Fantastic day and night 🥳

Well that was a fantastic day, a standing ovation to Shaun when he arrived.

The Cheshire Cheese was quite full.

I was unfortunately the first to leave during Shaun’s talk to catch the last train.

Lot of new names to take in.
