The West Dome Deeps should keep coming to the fore. It’s a smaller SE crescent but it’s horizontal, much much easier to mine close to a hoist. From the latest Presentation they’re saying the underground rigs have started another round of drilling there. This maybe to explore the sections of high grade close to the drill pads. The WDD RNS indicates though that they will be exploring the stockwork underneath the high grade. We know it’s stockwork as Newcrest indicated it on a section over 10 years ago, showing a vertical column of 80m wide stockwork. Some of the drilling logs have gone through it but it’s a bit too far from the drill pads but the rest of it isn’t.

I would like them to fan drill upwards as well to find out what’s in those M reefs above the high grade LLU.

( I’ve a big wants list 🤣)

The West Dome Deeps will use the hoist for the high grade. If they find more ore above and below it, then it may need a conveyor.

Havieron has little silver but Newcrest were getting silver credits from the gold Dore’ bars. We haven’t been told yet of any credits which come out of the copper concentrate. They may be using these credits to pay the processors

Pity you didn’t get to Sheffield where I pinpointed the opportunities at Telfer.

Since then that Presentation highlighted more potential in a few words ie Kyle and the lower Mreefs, ESC lookalikes and are not in the MRE.

Expansions to the Rey, ESC, A reefs, LLU that’s before any mine planning comes out for the VSC a huge lump of stockworks and will be similar to the WDD which looks as if they are starting to drill.

We don’t need the outliers yet 🙂

If they get 5mt out from the WDD with the hoist then that’s still only 6 months processing. That will be mined in conjunction with the Main dome underground and the open pits ore to fill the gap or increase stockpiles. Havieron will be in the other train and not mixed, it’s different ore constituents.

You need to read page 39 again.

It’s the 2.8mt that has a 2.74g/t grade not 4m, that will be more likely be 1.5-1.7g/t.

If you go back to the PFS that had 2mt at 3.6g/t so introducing more ore gives a lower grade.

In fact when you work out the ounces they all end up with around 240koz.

They will need to keep the 2 head grades from the 4mt separately, the high grade ores take a lot to get the most of them so unlikely to be mixed.

The top sulphides need to be trucked out from the top it’s a big ask to haul up from 1400-1600m depth this is where the conveyor is needed from halfway downwards.

The only way to get grades of 2.74g/t at 4mt is too pick and choose from high grade pods in the centre, viability would be an issue there.

With nearly 9,000m to get the Decline to the base from the top of the ore that’s 3-5 years work plus stoping infrastructure, plus getting the conveyor to the base from approval. That’s somewhere between 2032-2035.

Getting less higher grade ore out from the top is far more economical than 4mt from the base.

The sulphides grades are super ores, this is going to take serious mine planning, I can see why they are taking their time to get the FS right. The FS is going to be very interesting.

Dividends aren’t bad just wrong company at the wrong time. Will be more fireworks to come in the Paterson in a few years time maybe sooner, will need the cash.

Besides the plant the leach pads are very active 🙂

Greatland is all about growth not dividend, they need to invest in Telfer for improvements to the plant, the tailings dams, cutbacks, drilling all to enhance future growth. This is going to keep happening for years , without revenues will fall, they have to keep on replenishing the reserves. If the reserves are not replenished they will have to go on the market to buy again.

Shaun is an ambitious man when Telfer and Havieron are sorted then what, he will still be looking at opportunities.

If you’ve come here looking for dividends you have picked the wrong company that won’t happen for at least 5 years.

Most of the long term holders here are for growth, big growth.

My estimated timeline for a conveyor is 2030 at the earliest and the underground crusher needs to go way down, you wouldn’t want to keep moving it.

Probably 12 months for approval, 3 to 4 years construction and installation.

The Decline is only designed for 3mt, for me the 4.5mt is from 2030ish.

The top 300m of ore is more than likely all going to be trucked and probably further.

A stope of 30x30x50m open stope would contain around 135kt so 22 stopes need to be on the go to keep 3mt going, this takes in what was in the RNS of 4 vertical mining fronts need to be worked on to maintain 3mt.

I see the conveyor being used for the Eastern breccia, Shaun mentioned caving the EB sometime back. This is where larger quantities of ore will start coming out while the Northern corridor will be stoped and trucked out. It will be stoped to prevent the aquifer being dropped into the mine.

The latest satellite images from Saturday are still showing little movement on the Stage 7 operation at the top of the Saddle between the 2 pits.

Most of the movement seems to be in the base of the pit that’s completing Stage 8 and into the new Stage 2.

That’s really good news for this quarter as it’s slightly higher there than at the top in Stage 7. It’s oxides in Stage 7 but sulphides in st2 , that means greater recovery factors for this quarter ie more revenues.

Only 28 days left of this quarter, that’s nearly the same time as the December results had but at much higher prices. This could give at least an additional US$21m for gold and around $2 m for copper.

Factor that in when they report the quarterly results to the Aussies.

I ought to do one closer to where I live but I tend to go where there we can find a venue that can cater for us.

I have been to meets as far as Stirling and Guildford were the furthest for me.

We do have people coming to Stroud from Southend and Margate. The room at Stroud is available on Tuesday nights. Weekend venues are harder to find available.

These meetings are well attended from all over the country and the London area does have the Townhall.

The top 2 are quoted in that layer as being mudstone and sandstone and are permeable ie meaning water can run through easily and both topped up by inflows from the east of Havieron.

In construction I used to hate having to work with that type of ground, alright when they’re dry but absolutely horrendous when wet and these 2 aquifers are wet. They’re not confined as keeping water in as they both can drain out to the west, they are contained as a set acreage.

The lower aquifer is a different beast it’s made up of glacial debris of large and small boulders embedded in rubbly silts that bind it together this is permeable but it hasn’t got running water it’s a trickle, so one the pressures have dissipated there’s not a problem with it.

This is why Shaun has stated that the additional pond liners may or may not be needed. If the initial pressures are the ponds may be needed, if the pressures are low they won’t be needed.

My first reading of that report and others in 2021 I posted on here that the clay content in the mudstone will cause issues and I was quite taken aback by Newcrest not lining the Decline with steel or concrete liners and grout behind. Too expensive at the time and unwillingness to spend out but it would have saved time and loss production. This Boxcut has to last 40 years, will the works that they’ve carried out last that long.

There’s certainly little ingress from the lower aquifer into the mine.

Telfer is a wet mine lots of pumping going on there and that’s where most of Havieron water will come from.

Havieron is a dryish mine but it will always have some water getting in.

Someone came up to me at the meeting and told me about the Hotcopper thread from yesterday.

Sounded really technical stuff and worrying. On the way home I was reading this (with Roger driving of course) I couldn’t believe how they’ve twisted it around to suit their own agenda. One guy even said they don’t want disagreements between Antipa and Ggp but it was quite obvious they are bitter and twisted at Ggp not wanting Antipa.

After spending 2 hours showing what potential lies at Havieron I read them spouting there wasn’t.

The technical stuff on the water flow rates was really picked out of the air and the piece about pumping was total nonsense.

Most of the water they will be extracting is coming from the upper 2 aquifers which drain out into the paleo channel to the west of Havieron , in fact the top one close to the surface suffers from big evaporation rates except in wet conditions where it is linked to the second aquifer. The water extracted is needed to keep the mine working and there will not be enough.

The pumping is not an issue that thread blew this up out of all proportion. The most of the water is pumped from 10 to 110m from surface from 14 bore holes and they’ve drilled more of these. It works out about 1-2 litres per second.

The main reason for the vent holes to be top of the list for the critical path is the blind bore method used where the drill hole is flooded to prevent water and pressure ingress. There’s 3 of these holes before the decline can begin and the resultant pumping can begin.

I reiterate what I’ve been saying about the posters on here, we don’t realise how many people out there only read this Board. Yesterday I would say were only a dozen or so post, the rest remarked to me that they don’t post but only read this Board.
