A lot has happened with Greatland in the last 6 months. I’m putting together a talk on what has happened in that period and into the future at Telfer. Also at Havieron what can we expect to happen. Shaun sent me a long email 3 years ago about his Sustainability plans and they appear to be coming quicker than I imagined.

I found a slide from Newcrest showing their plans for both open pits in 2019, this seems to be the basis of Ggp exploration strategy at present.

There seems to be a lot of interest at attending the Waverley event near Meadowhall, it’s a big place so no problem with numbers. We do need to tell the pub though on numbers who want to eat, if you don’t want to eat please come anyway and get to know fellow investors.

Shaun at the Townhall :- he was talking with Newmont about them releasing some of their shares for the Australian market but wasn’t certain on the outcome of those discussions.

I hadn’t noticed before that the advance on the new exploration drive has started and shown on the quarterly results RNS.

If you scroll down to figure 2 you can see the green proposed route. On that green route you can see 2 dark blue advances where they’ve started. Constructing it next to the first drive means they can access it at numerous points. 2 advances could mean 2 jumbos or teams. The next quarterlies will give us some clues on the advance rates, that will be 90 days worth of advances.

Camp Dome looks as though it won’t be neglected, it will be getting drilled at some point. 1100m long by 400m wide by 60m thick strata full of copper

The Rio jv is diminishing 50% of Basel, Telfer Domain gone, 50% of Budgiedown gone, 50% of Strickland gone, Wilki gone and doesn’t look good for Skylar next to Havieron.

Aventine Resources Party Ltd only set up 2 weeks ago , they will have the Juri jv and Panorama.

Be interesting whose set it up.

There are a lot of people who read these post and have no contact with other investors. The people who come to their first meeting really enjoy it, I know because they come up to me and tell me so and want more.

If you are one of these readers with no contact don’t take on board what some fools are trying to do and that is discredit your judgement of investing in Ggp.

If the gold price retraces back to $2,600 then it’s still happy days, that’s the price it was in December when they had that bumper month and ended with A$145,000,000 in the bank. Since then gold hit $3,500 and don’t forget Ggp we’re selling some production at that price.

If the gold price goes below $2,400 that’s fine too as Shaun has put options at that sum.

We are in good hands with Shaun. 👏

We do have people from Kent turn up at the Stroud meeting in fact from all over the place.

The next meeting is at a pub in Meadowhall on Saturday 31st it looks as though it will exceed the Stroud attendance which was the biggest meet outside of the London Town hall.

I haven’t arranged anything else yet but have some ideas

Looks like the Wilki tenement has been surrendered and immediately applied for by Antipa.

Looks a daft move by them, the recent ground surveys gave no evidence of mineralisation.

Antipa have also applied for 59% of the Telfer domain , again recently surrendered by the Rio jv. Why they’ve applied for it I’ve no idea 🤷‍♂️

They’ve also been granted 4 of the Budgiedown licences surrendered last year. They were surrendered as part of the 40% compulsory clause. They were not particularly of any interest.

I can’t understand Antipa’s recent moves?

I am concerned when I hear people are still down on their average, you will just have to hold on for the ride.

None of us have experienced anything like what is happening unless you were a Northern Star early investor.

Complaining about the present sp is immaterial, it’s just a distraction from the main story. In other words it doesn’t matter and very naive to keep on about it.

There’s so much upside coming in the short, medium and long term it can only go one way even if the gold price tracks backwards.

I’ve no doubt where it’s going, just waiting for the next news to appear and there is lots to come.

Looking forward to sharing my views at Meadowhall on the 31st, it’s a long way for me so might a one off, will have to see how I get on.

There’s still so much of the Telfer Ore missing from the latest MRE resources, it’s hard to define what isn’t in it.

There’s news to come from all around the Main Dome which we knew about but that little snippet in the London Townhall is a real jaw dropper.

Scroll down to the image of the ESC , you can see the red image of the ESC which is also not on the MRE. Look to the right and find the cave footprint. Below this is the infrastructure of the caving. This is the area where Shaun said Newcrest just stopped work in this zone 7 years ago “the northern face “ of the SLC.

It’s not mentioned anywhere yet but they’re looking at it.

Big numbers could be involved.

Cornwall is an historical tale of waste disposal gone wrong with no immediate sense of any wrong doing.

As(111) a r se n ite is the produce of gold production, gold sticks to it very readily.

One waste disposal method is to change it to As(V) a r s e nate then encapsulate it before disposal in landfill.

Burning fossil fuels releases As(111) into the atmosphere in the particulates, when breathed in these particulates collection in the lungs. They are absorbed very quickly by the body and when entering the kidney are discharged. When As(V) enters the body it doesn’t absorb as quickly but they both pass through the body at the same rate.

There is a r senic 111 and V in trace amounts in water, air, earth and food , the body can easily deal with it.

The historical waste is a government issue of having to spend huge sums in cleaning it up.

Mining is a dirty industry, it always has been that’s why the best ESG companies get the funding attention they deserve.

I remember years ago working on the Aberfan tip, the conditions were very poor, those kids just didn’t stand a chance. The tailings heap was moved and landscaped at the top of the hill. I’ve tried to locate it on google maps it’s very difficult to find . Nature has reclaimed it all.

At Telfer, the pits will half fill with water once the management ceases, nature will gradually take it all back eventually with a little help from the landscape architects.

Havieron may not breach the surface in our lifetime it won’t take a lot for nature to take over again.

There could be another motive of course to drilling out Parklands so quickly. The route of the new road to Havieron goes right through it.

The route may have to be altered to miss any new open pit, this may have to be reapplied for permission to do that.

Will they joint venture to bring Parklands into production.

Lots of scenarios .

When 2 companies are drilling side by side on a grid pattern on a long anomaly, I don’t think I’ve come across this happening so quickly before. Then one of them reduces the grid in one place , it sounds so optimistic, of course we don’t know what they are finding .

They might not find anything only the drilling can tell us but it certainly looks good.

Ggp have been drilling both sides of Parklands.

Saltpetie on Hotcopper has noticed drilling on the NW end and Paddy has noticed a lot of drilling on the SE end.

Antipa looks as though they’ve completed their first pass RC drilling in between Greatland’s.

Getting exciting let’s hope they find something.🙂🤞

They certainly won’t be blending that low grade in with the valuable Havieron ore that needs careful grinding to a finer grain than that low grade stuff.

Shaun did say they won’t use that stockpile if other areas come on stream.

The high grade stockpile is forecast to go in FY26, my feelings are that more ore is going to come out of the West Dome pit for FY27 mitigating the need for the LG stockpile to be used. The plan was to use that LG stockpile in FY27, hopefully they won’t need to.
