Hi WW This is share investing for you sometimes you win others you lose. If you decide to sell when your below your buy in price then that's a loss , if you decide to hold and keep the shares for the future then that's not a loss and if there are divis that's an investment. If you decide to add more at below your buy in price then on paper you have reduced your average and if the shares then rise that's a paper gain. Yes your access to capital has gone but it will come back , more surveys suggest that share investments are by far and away better than cash or bonds. Dc to be blunt sounds like share investment is not for you perhaps unit trusts would more suit you more

Being a Saturday at least it can't go lower :)) On a brighter note a young relative of mine has become the youngest site manager with Bovis at 25 well done to him. He said I should be buying their shares (no chance) :))

Just seen Jeff Fairburn of PSN walk away from a BBC interview when asked about his bonus. In my opinion he should be given the elbow, his bonus is total greed giving all builders a bad name

I'm in the pension fund the company have thrown money at it. There are no debts in it as far as I know and is fully covered. So that's all hunky doory :))))))) Better to be here than BT and as Nige says you haven't made a loss until you sell sit tight and reap the divis. When this share went to 4p in 2008 we were millions upon millions in debt and the pension fund looked knackered. We now have millions upon millions in the bank and fully funded pensions. It is a very good position to be in, only thing missing is sentiment we need this company to up their game and be the outstanding leader and innovation is the way forward. :))

There is no reason for this share to hit £1 don't scare monger there's a lot of nervous investors at the moment. I'm not nervous but I am rearranging my portfolio. Most stocks have dropped 25% including HSBC and tw have followed suite . I believe we are close to the floor. Any market upturn will shift this quickly upwards.

I voted FOR all on line . Companies who run nominee accounts have the voting rights unless you tell them of your wishes, they usually vote with the company. I'm following Leo's lead although I feel edgy about more dilution but I want the SWP brought forward as soon as possible

Hi dc Learn by my mistakes, diversify spread your risks, when one sector floors it others rise. Half my stocks are in divis or unit trust the other half on growth stocks mainly gold and oil. Don't keep it one sector, doomed to failure at some point. Your decision but good luck with what route you take ATB :))

Hi troubles I've promised myself I would never say again "surely they can't go any lower" twice it happened to me both times £100k losses. Taylor Woodrow £5.30 down to 4p and LGO 7p to under 0.1p. Kept buying in both on the way down. 10years later I have my money back in Tw. 4 years later into LGO (now Cerp) early days but I can see a decent profit coming. As Calisto says the markets haven't forgiven the builders and banks for the collapse in 2008. I personally can't see the lows of 2016 returning, my main holding here is staying put, but my trading pot here is going into oil and gas with over $100 barrel forecast that's where the growth stocks will be. Unfortunately though no good for the planet but how could we live without it at the moment. It's time builders took a bold step and make their houses self sufficient in energy production , imagine that no energy bills what a selling point that would be. ATB :))

Ok I'll hold my hands up and say I got that figure wrong it does look high but I don't know why it's in my note book oh well move on. On the Sound energy web site there is a web cam of their latest rig drilling , it's massive, worth a look (not a ramp but of interest). Have a good day :))

Hi Vmax I have been here probably as long as you have when I heard they were obtaining the license. I have always believed in the asset I might have made an error with the $20m but I always try to be factual and that figure I'm sure is the correct figure for the SWP at 14000'.The figure your talking about I'm sure was Icacos and down to 7000 but happy to be proved wrong. If they are going for the deep drill at 14000 I would be surprised if it only cost $2-4m as Irene commented but I am assuming Leo is after the shallower targets I don't mind anyone having a rant at me it doesn't bother me but would rather discuss things rationally as we are all on this journey together Have a good evening :))

I did a long post yesterday in response to Irenes question on the SWP , unfortunately it was deleted with the thread. So from memory here goes 1 the chance of success for any exploratory well has never been more than 30% for anywhere. To reduce the risk aerial surveys and seismic surveys are used to pinpoint targets and increase the COS. Leo has stated they have employed specialists to put together a drilling plan 2 the SWP is only 6-7 miles from the Venezuelan coast and lies over the Venezuelan oil basin. BP, BHP and a Canadian company are drilling close by offshore. There has been only one well drilled in this area down to 14000' into the Herrara sandstone. The drill got stuck and the well didn't produce. 3 the costs of the well were around $20m by NR. Leo has stated he can get that down to $2-4m 4 infrastructure- in Icacos the oil is being tankered so as there is no producing wells at the moment I would assume it will be the same. Profits- there are multiple targets ranging from 20m-400m Assuming one well produces 100bopd at say $50 netback that's $5000 per day or $1.8m per annum. So 300bopd would pay off the cost of the well in one year anything over this is profit. Remember there are multiple targets, that's multiple profits Roll on the SWP :))))))

My long reply to Irene re the SWP seems to have been deleted and her reply. London74 there's 2 reasons to ramp this share 1 Leo and 2 SWP. If we hit multiple targets at the max of 400m barrels that could be $20m+ each per annum for years Bigmj target is 16x today's target I believe that's a possibility I'm also in Sound energy and a sale coming next year at £10 would be a 30x today's price maybe 60x is possible So any sniff here of a sale could propel this 16x +++ Roll on the SWP :))))

I don't believe I've read any posts that were moaning , I hope mine never came over like that My initial reaction to the news was of deflation, my heart sank. In my head I heard oh no it's happening again. After being down 100k here and 30k in Solo you would expect me to be nervous. After another look at the presentation I'm still very positive about the future for Cerp , still smiling and optimistic of retrieving my losses whichever way Leo takes us I will be right behind him. I think we are very lucky having Bigmj alongside us . I can only assume his losses from LGO days are big. ATB :))
