Wilson, I hold this stock also. Was hoping Ygen could get some sort of partnership going with Ncyt as I believe there is good synergy especially how Ygen are now getting established in the US with their NIPT product. I am waiting to see the outcome of the dispute before buying a sizeable chunk more, as I believe, like many, this is ridiculously undervalued .

Wilson, can only see Primerdesign on lot I... can't see anything on the other 3 lots..I also see it mentioned that Ncyt are supplying on a framework agreement already to the NHS I think I read. Is it one of the four micro framework tenders?

Just answering a couple of queries from earlier. Don't want people thinking Ncyt got onto all four lots do we? Just the one isn't it. Not counting through a third party.

a couple of points. Ygen do not now work with NCYT, that stopped a long time ago. I believe there could have been a good partnership there but it went sour when Mullis went for a cheaper supplier, who I believe later on they had a few problems with. Ncyt are not one of the 3 suppliers who were awarded on all four lots. Also to mention they are apparently the only company who make their own test (Clarigene) and process and sequence in their own labs. They control the whole manufacturing process and costs, so can compete with anyone.

Frankie, how much can a company of Ygen's size cope with? Can they cope with say upto £50m a year contract, or can they do more?

What he doesn't say is just how far underwater he is. I believe it was around £1.50 average, but of course the muppet will tell you because of his expertise at averaging down it's now under 10p ha ha !
