It's not a supply problem from MHC/YGEN so not too sure what is going on at Boots. I can only think Boots may have under estimated demand and not ordered enough, or a system glitch of some sort. If you look at Cardiff area then they are completely out of stock at every single store, all 30+ of them.

milender, I think the welsh govt think Ygen are leading with the DPYD product. Many more will do too in the very near future. According to many US media outlets Ygen are a leading company in the Nipt sector and regularly mentioned along with the 'big boys'. The Ranger tech is also industry leading There you go, just three things for starters.

they explain they will correctly (imo) concentrate on Covid for the near term. They also mention they are indeed mindful that the other products need to come to the fore.Just not happening yet while they concentrate on maximising the covid income. But it surely will do in due course.What is the betting of the DNA products ending up in Boots stores in the near future? I have faith in the management, so am willing to let them get on with it, for now at least.

They also put out prelim results a month earlier. Not sure what the problem is tbh.

we had an update less than a month ago, for heaven's sake! Just in case you missed it! What we need is investors who don't need updates every other day and are willing to let the BOD do their stuff. Short term/day traders and chancers/rainbow chasers are a right pain imo.

selling out of stock isn't really good news though! How many sales are being lost because of it? We are told it's not a supply issue with MHC or Ygen. So why is the Cardiff area showing 90% of stores have no stock? Maybe it's because the stores didn't order enough and it's Boots that have under estimated demand. Either way it's not good is it?

spin_ .....if only! What makes you so confident? Not sure it will be for testing though , as they have plenty of capacity for PCR testing across the country.If one does materialise it could be for something else?

I asked the question about stocks at Boots, here is the reply;

it could also be a online glitch? Ygen can supply 10k a day so I doubt it's a supply problem.

Trippy, stop bulls hitting, They are ONLY on the supplier list.It does NOT mean they will get a contract, so STOP making it sound like they will get a % of that money.
I know a company that is on every lot, yes all four, and one of only three companies to do so, and they have not seen a penny yet. Lot three has only 9 suppliers on it too, and still they wait for contracts.
As already mentioned, they have been awarded nothing of value yet, just a place on the supplier list and a good chance they will see nothing anyway.

They could get absolutely nothing from the govt contracts. They will likely have to enter a mini tender process against all the others on the supply list to get any work. So to clarify, there is NO guarantee of getting any work just being on the supplier list.

why do people keep whinging about lack of updates. We had one 3 weeks ago for heaven's sake!! The BOD are not here to hold hands with you every day.

Management have already said they are concentrating on covid for the near term at least. This is where the revenue is right now. They need to grab as much of this income while it lasts. They have plenty of time to launch their other products as it won't be just yet it seems.Just relax and realise they are raking in the money atm, and in the background getting ready to launch new products, at the right time.

will be interesting to see if the ''inhouse/country'' sales people have managed to improve things in the international markets. I know the US guy has got one or two deals over the line, not sure about anywhere else though? What we do know is that the losses will be bigger, (temporarily I hope) due to sizeable investments in overseas personnel and lab improvements.
