No impact on MHC whatsoever! It is a different test (antigen) for poorer countries. Very noble thing to do!

does anyone know what the formula might be to the size of contracts the govt would hand out for different size companies. Wonder what it might be for say a sme for instance. Would it be a % of the company revenue, or maybe how many employees in the business. Maybe Regulator can answer this one?

I suppose at the end of the day we must treat this covid revenue as a bonus. We know it will end sometime as it's mainly for the travel industry now as the 'back to work' and big venue testing has just about gone, or has been replaced with LFT.
Hopefully nipt sales are moving along nicely, especially in the US. Need that new guy to get one or two more contracts over the line now!
Does anyone know what criteria govt use when handing out contracts rgds what size of deal would they deem fit for a small company like Ygen. Obviously they won't give Ygen as big a deal as say Thermo. I suppose if they ordered 10k + Clarigene tests +lab a day then it is doable and would mean a figure well in excess £50m a year. Now that would be nice!!

I think they will shift a few with Cignpost (Express test). They are in the big airports like H/row and Gatwick and have capacity for over 400k a month. Wonder how many of those Ygen supply?

Newcastle use another suppliers test not Ygen. I believe it might be NCYT. As you say there must be something in it, otherwise why bother?

andy, lba is dominated by Jet2 and Ryanair, and they have their own test suppliers. I doubt Ygen do that much business there tbh.

Andym, around your neck of the woods it shows around 40% of stores are out of stock, around London it's just under 30%.. They must be shifting a few then in Boots stores alone?

Natdan, what you should say is minister approved labs only are struggling, as I believe there is plenty of capacity if they wanted it. I will bet they are not using Ygen's 8/10k + a day capacity for starters. I heard govt have said they intend to look to private labs for testing going forward, everywhere except Manchester no doubt as we didn't make the 'VIP' lane ...lol
