Look kind of similar to what the U.K. government offers to EU citizens even though they don’t need to...... it’s a visa but no time limit

You really are dumb. Freedom of movement only applies for 3 months. The U.K. chooses to extend this indefinitely but other EU countries do not. They apply conditions which if not met the time limit runs out resulting in citizen being deported

Ergo it’s not freedom of movement or EU citizens it is the U.K. government choosing to extend their stay indefinitely. In plain language freedom of movement under EU law is limited to 3 months by right, the U.K. government chooses to extend this period, in effect offering indefinite visa’s without conditions other than criminalit’s.

I know that, I said freedom of movement is like a visa granted for 3 months without condition to all EU citizens as a right.

The reason this didn’t happen is U.K. government sets no conditions, but they could. Germany does, if you entered 3 months ago & didn’t have a job or 3 months money, you can be deported.

Since 2004, European Union law has allowed governments to control movements of EU citizens as follows: allow EU citizens to freely circulate only for three months and then require them (should they want to stay longer) to show they are working (employed or self-employed), a registered student or have sufficient resources (pension, savings) to support themselves and comprehensive sickness insurance eg a valid European health insurance card enabling the NHS to claim back the cost of treatment or have private health insurance. The UK is one of the few governments that has not implemented this.

Freedom of movement agreements acts like a visa for EU citizens going to an EU country. It’s a right to this treaty based visa.

Like a visa this treaty agreement only applies for 3 months. After that period, there are no rights to come and go or remain.

Do you know where Germany is or Belgium. If you were an EU citizen you can’t stay unless you have 3 months funding available for you to Access. If you don’t have a job after 3 months you might get sent home. Those are the “conditions” they apply.

The U.K. can control immigration to different degrees but chooses not to. Immigration from non EU ( that’s the bit EU has no agreement with us) is far higher. That’s another big word meaning more.

So EU citizens are not the pretend problem, if they were, freedom of movement or rights to enter or stay without conditions only applies to their first 3 months, that 1 year divided by 4. In other words 3 months 90 days if you prefer.
