Long - so you didn’t read. Shall we try again
“ Thirdly, EU law does not provide nationals from other EU Member States with an unlimited right to enter or remain in the UK. Most importantly, the right to live in the UK without any conditions or formalities only lasts for three months”
You still seem confused. You describe entering as in I can enter nearly any country in the world.... even place far far away like Australia (but not la la land or lego land)
We are talking about immigration. That reads like Imm - E - gra- sion. I’ve given you the definition for that long word haven’t I?
Okay so let’s go over this again. U.K. checks everyone coming and going because we have borders & control of our borders, even for EU citizens, this is because ain’t in Schengen
Still with me?
This allows for U.K. border force to monitor and then control who comes and goes
Freedom of movement without conditions only lasts for 3 months
Try this again
“ Thirdly, EU law does not provide nationals from other EU Member States with an unlimited right to enter or remain in the UK. Most importantly, the right to live in the UK without any conditions or formalities only lasts for three months”
Germany for instance regularly deports EU citizens who don’t have a job
That very very bad man Farage lied to you. I know it hurts but.
So are we clear. Differences between entering, holiday, business visit etc & immigration staying to live......
The U.K. can control immigration to different degrees but chooses not to. Immigration from non EU ( that’s the bit EU has no agreement with us) is far higher. That’s another big word meaning more.
So EU citizens are not the pretend problem, if they were, freedom of movement or rights to enter or stay without conditions only applies to their first 3 months, that 1 year divided by 4. In other words 3 months 90 days if you prefer.
Do you think you can go and satisfy yourself of this fact or do you need me to help you find it?
