I guess a big dilemma would be to think about the company one keeps. Before investing I would look at the quality of LTHs and ask if it is a good sign that slack jawed simpletons with significant mental health issues seem to be the ones most invested. The green stripe - clearly has a loose grasp on reality and seems only capable of a gambling addiction and pretending to care for its mother at taxpayers expense. The others - the kids DJ with anger issues and the conspiracy theorist. That isn't a good sign is it?

Perhaps best avoided. LOL. Time will tell I guess. That would screw with the fuzzy little heads wouldn't it?

I think you could be right - I think the sell went to 1.7 very briefly and the buy was 2.25p. I had forgotten about that.

The business seems in a stronger position now but sentiment is clearly against it for all the reasons we discuss. With the economic turmoil over the last couple of days they face a challenging time ahead and I am genuinely intrigued to see the results. If they are decent I may even buy in! Currently wouldn't touch it with a barge pole as it is a pure gamble without firm information.

Just think - if LTHs had listened to us they could have sold up when it peaked and bought back in at over 30% less. Oh well.

The share price has been hit by global events today, rather than anything else in my view. However, it does mean that CNSL is now priced at its previous all time low 2.75p.

The trading update was bullish but we have seen that before. We were also told that 24/25 would be loss making. If James and the new team have carried on the momentum we may see a surprise and they may hit £10.5m - this is the figure needed to demonstrate consistent growth momentum. If we see this or higher and a marginal profit you would expect the price to rise. If they have failed in Q4 to get the sales team buzzing and revenue targets are missed then whom knows? With external factors anything is possible.

Do you know how much being listed adds to the bottom line ? It has to be worthwhile. It currently isn’t.

You have to ask as today just a single trade was made for £60.

This is untenable - it is simply not worth being listed.

James is a strong COO. I’m not convinced that translates to CEO. It also means that they seem to have been unable to recruit and now have either chosen not to have a COO or can’t find someone.

A small manufacturing business may not need one but in regulated environments I consider this a misstep.

Was that the 9p at 8am? I'm surprised at the buys whatever the case - they run out of money in May. Thats less than 6 weeks away. The brand is the only thing left and that is more reputationally tarnished than Prince Andrew. I see no value in it.

This is a company that was royally done over imo. The court ruling prompted by the last minute aggression by the FCA was a disgrace. However, it is what it is. Sorry to all LTHs that stuck it out but it seems only a miracle will get you any value back now.

It is always worth understanding the competitive landscape when considering a stock.

For CNSL they have many similar businesses that run more credible tests and have stronger fundamentals. They are perfect benchmarks.

We know that CNSL have exhausted the UK market - that was according to Jag in the investors meeting before he left. The big hope was China and America. I have previously warned of the US landscape currently in place. It is a tough market to crack and is expensive to penetrate.

Today's results from ABDX prove this. Results do not match expectations and despite the heavy investment in the US it seems the most likely to blame for a lack of substantive growth.

With so much riding on marketing and sales into the US it does potentially ring alarm bells that a company that seems more focused than CNSL is struggling.

Factor in regulatory requirements and you can understand why, despite saying the US was a sales target since 2017 in RNS CNSL has thus far failed to develop in this space.

We shall soon find out.

In the meantime the fetid imagination of the ramping idiots continues. But here we are. No 10p. No take over. No US progress to speak of. Just a company that has sold all its major assets and is now shilling a unproven test.

I'm not invested in CNSL and nor do I hold any commercial or financial interest in it either. Just a dog share I've been tracking since I sold my minor holding in it before the price crashed. TBH this one could go either way. The new board is better in a number of regards but I a lack of R&D and riding the coat tails of larger developing markets has significant challenges imo.

Kaeran - You have to put it context of the time. Mr King came on board and standards dropped rapidly as they were losing money (can you see a pattern?). Bottom line costs were being slashed and as part of this the ISO standards that you would expect any manufacturer to have were allowed to lapse.

Someone - likely a MM has bought a small amount today, otherwise this could well sink below 2.80.

Without good governance things get shoddy. It's an affliction with many of the SMEs I get called in to.

The offence was under ODX stewardship as per the contract at the time. If you look back ODX sold the business to NYCT (again, see the picture forming?) but as part of the deal they ran the facility for 12 months (by which time the facility was sold and the business was consumed within NYCT).

The main issue wont be the fine but yet more uncertainty going into reporting. The Directors have forecast another loss making year and we know they spent another £100K on legals so we could see a negative or flat EBITDA soon. You have to wonder how longer some of the idiots here will twig that the jam they keep being promised never arrives.

As such the offence as stated by NYCT makes perfect sense. They were either handling stuff they should be or didnt have the control methods to prevent leakage.

I almost feel sorry for the new board as it must have been a bit of a shock to find yet another mess left behind by the previous directors.

How is it "good news"? All I'm seeing is keeping a grift going and soaking the shareholders.

Seems I may have spoken too soon based on yet more false information by one of the rampers. I should have known better.

CNSL have pleaded guilty to all charges in court for the HSE historic breach and judgement will be on the 22nd May. So yet more uncertainty.

Although I still do not believe this is going to be significant in the scheme of things (I originally said a small fine and a wrap of the knuckles) it does mean that more legal costs and resource are being incurred at a time when focus on growth and development are badly needed.

And here it comes....

As I have shown - they need to have revenue of #10.5 million for 2024/25. That would mean they continued to deliver growth. Anything under means they are stagnant or sliding.
