Beatroot.......I traded it twice today buying on that first drop making 3% each time. I also bought a tranch first thing that I am holding long term....they are slightly in the red now but happy with that. Shame that feckwitt Sturgeon seems happy on keeping Scotland closed for business fir a while yet!

Jed........another reason to get into copper miners. I bought into ANTO when I dumped my holding here in November......it turned into a good move. What is the main component of electric cars motors? ...copper is on a mega roll right now and expected to be the precious commodity of 2021.

It is always tempting to cash in and I have done it a couple of times in the past few months and re bought.....for a change I have done OK doing this. However now with the current roadmap and everyone eyeing up a recovery in travel within the next 6 months I am happy now to hold and forget. I will give it 18-24 months and see where we are then. I am pretty overweight in both travel stocks and Oil but I really am confident that these will all be great recovery plays in the longer term. Good luck to you all.

My opinion is to buy into travel shares. Beats dragging your heels in here. Still lots of bargains out there. That said never take advice from what is said on a bulletin board. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Robertgleed.......Probably the best time to get out will be 2023. I am starting to think now that roadmap is pretty clear to now just hold for the longer term. I traded this a couple of times last few weeks and done well but far easier now to just sit back, relax and look where we are in 2 years.

Took my profit this morning as I never like getting tied up with these funding issues. Longer term they will work out OK but you need to have the spare funds to fund them.
I will see how things progress over the next few weeks before jumping back in.
Profits reinvested back into TUI as I see that now bouncing nicely as the momentum always looks good on little bits of good news.

Oxon......that is just an un crossing trade. The mm’s balancing the books, don't get too excited.

Anapa.......one think for sure all travel stocks are going to make a good recovery over the next 12-24 months I think we all agree on that. It has been a strange year for us all but hopefully now we can all start to reap the benefits of our investments.
It has been a crazy last year at work, flying in airspace that is so quiet and getting sent direct more times than I can remember.I Look forward now to hopefully soon seeing the airspace get busier, maybe less directs but will be good to see some of my ex colleagues starting to fly again.

Anapa........Self gratification indeed. I bought into all travel stocks in November when the vaccine was first announced as in my eyes they are all no brainers. I have not found the need to continue to tell the world every few hours how smart I have been though like you continue to do.

And before you get on your high horse I am a long term holder here being the company where I started my aviation career, I have moved on twice since those days but BA will always hold a part of my heart.
As for price, well who knows, as I have said to you before a lot of hurdles to be crossed before we can really understand what price we will eventually be trading at.

Avicet123........you quote folk on here talking rubbish about where the price would go. But surely that was their own views, like mine I think Tui will eventually make us all a lot of money but until we see the rest of Europe opening their doors to allow foreign travel there are still a lot of hurdles to be crossed before we can all sit fat and happy with our investments.
Tui still has a huge amount of debt and till we can all start heading off on our foreign holidays unrestricted no one really knows what a fair price we should be at.
I am very heavy into travel stocks with most of my portfolio in SAGA, SGC, IAG and EZY but I am still not throwing more caution to the wind here. Good luck and stay safe.
