I feel after a rapid rise on a brief glimmer of optimism re lockdown easing this was always going to fall back. I still cannot see European holidays starting anytime soon though when they do the demand will certainly be there. I feel maybe 2021 will again be the year of the staycation and anyone interested in travel stocks should take a quick look at at SGC as I am sure they will benefit from folk staying at home. As they say, jump aboard before you miss the bus. Good luck folks and stay safe.

Not many times do you see a share open on ex divi day and not fall losing the divi value......That tells us one thing, this is still a steal below £3. Onwards and upwards from here.

Aimtitan.........I have been investing far too long to realise anything posted on a bb will affect the share price. I used to enjoy using these boards and trying to pick the brains of my fellow investors and understand and respect everyones views either negative or positive .
Sadly in recent times it has become more like a school playground with folk like yourself name calling just because someone has a view that they do not agree with. I will not engage you in further conversation as it seems a bit like ****ing into the wind.
Maybe one day you can start to respect the views of your fellow investors and start to understand that we all have different investing goals.

Aimtitan........your interest in me is rather disturbing, you are not “Cleverinvestor” by any chance? The known stalker that the old bill are now showing an interest in.

Joewilliam.......I have given up on trading updates! Redrow the builders a couple of weeks back was fabulous with near record profits......needless to say it dropped 5% on the news!!
I have sold out again here and will see what happens next week. Good luck.

I guess folk are nervous about the content of the upcoming trading update.....we have had a reasonable run so maybe folk taking some profits.
Oilers have been flying and CNA dragging its feet. We may have reduced our debt but in doing so have sold some very valuable and profitable assets.

Let the trend be your friend.....I feel this still has legs to get into the high 400’s. E commerce is booming and it is going to be the main way of shopping for a long time to come. I understand there are rumours of a takeover here so that will for sure keep the price ticking higher.

I hear one of the scientific officers now recommending we stay in lockdown till May!!! At this rate we will be back in the £3 region soon. This is starting look like a long haul back.

Looking good with news of a couple of the Costa boats getting ready to go cruising again. As the world vaccination plan starts to gain speed I can see little or no downside from here.

Looks like our dear Scottish leader is putting the dampers on any summer holidays abroad today!....

Gregpeck.........why do you feel the need to constantly ramp this every 5 minutes of the day? I have just read all of your constant ramping nonsense over on ADVFN. Do you really think what folk post on a BB has any actual affect on the price? If you are so convinced with your predictions just sit back and watch your tenner grow. We all know Tui will come good one day but there is still a lot if water to run under the bridge before we can all feel safe and happy.
I keep saying this could quickly change direction with the first bit of negative news. I have ex colleagues now flying with Tui that are not expecting to get back flying anytime soon. It is because of that very reason that I will continue to trade in and out when those opportunities exist, like the last couple have days been.

I like what I see here at the moment so Just come back aboard after a couple of years away from PFC. It served me well in the past so fingers crossed we can see some good gains over the next few months. I think it is going to be a good year for the oilers so happy to hold for a while and see where she takes us.

Greg.......if you read my update this morning I sold at 10% profit yesterday and then bought BP midday, I then sold BP first thing this morning making 6% on my buy in price yesterday lunch and bought back in here first thing at 353. I have just dumped then again at 363 so am happy with 18.3% profit over 2 days. Happy with that and will now sit back and ponder my next move. No need to get snotty now and start name calling.

Gregpeck..........there are some pretty smart folk on this board so I find it pretty disappointing that you refer to them as idiots just because they do not share your views! Your comments are ine of the reason I tend not to use these forums as much As I used to.
We all have our views and different reasons why we buy into a stock and the reasons for selling too. So please, wind your neck in and start to appreciate all of the views your fellow investors post on this board.
Before I started flying business jets for a living I worked for a major travel company that sadly went tits up so I have a pretty good understanding of what goes on here.

Gregpeck.....not sure where you are coming from! Made 10% here yesterday before selling, made 5% in BP after selling yesterdays buy this morning and back in here at 353. If I see another 10% quickly here I will be off again. Nit sure what your “Ha” is? Maybe you are another fud that takes delight in trying to **** off fellow investors........you just stick to doing what you think is best for you and we will then all be happy.

Greg....sadly it is not down to Boris, it is down to what the rest of Europe do when it comes to reopening their borders....till that happens no one will be holidaying abroad. I am starting to go long on travel stocks now, back in here again but Saga is my largest holding by far but they have a lifeboat in the insurance side of the market too unlike Tui where it is all or nothing.
If I could just switch off and come back in 2024 I would probably be quite happy....sadly I cannot and keep getting a twitchy sell finger every time I see a 10% profit.

Avocet......I guess I was one of them but seeing 307 was too tempting for me. There is still half of my brain telling me that this could still go horribly wrong with the wrong bit of news......all travel stocks flying right now but all on the speculation that things will soon be back to normal re covid......I am still not 100% convinced of that so my travel buys now are a pure gamble but I guess we need to make the most of it till the wheels come off again.

I am giving up reading this BB till that final RNS finally drops. Then we will all know our destiny here. Either a great money maker or every pound we invested down the drain. A bit like roulette really, do we pick black or do we puck red.

Gregpeck.......it seemed the right thing to do at the time, seeing a quick 10% profit always rattles my sell finger, I wanted to top up in BP so jumped in there and was really surprised to see that jump a further 4% late afternoon. Just sold them again at the bell this morning and back in here at 352. I kniw you are going to say that is a lot of work to make a few bob extra (assuming I did) but hey ho. Maybe this time I will just leave invested and forget for a month or so. All really depends now on what Boris has to say on 22nd. I think I will set a tight stop loss just incase!
