Gregpeck......this 308 er is happy, my 308 on Friday was sold at 339 this morning then bought BP that then went up another 4%. My sell finger always gets twitchy at a 10% profit and today was no different.
I will buy back here once this little sprint slows down, in the meantime I will enjoy the ride on BP as a far safer bet in these crazy times right now. Good luck with your holdings.

A great day for all my oilers up over 6%.......needless to say CNA dragging its heels at a meagre 2%.

Mrlol.......they are fecking hopeless, I tried to take some profits in TW at 1620 to move elsewhere and I could not get on! They have a cheek to want to start taking £36 each year to hold an account....they will need to sort out their system before they start to rip us all off!

Topped up another £10K this morning after taking a nice quick profit out of Tui. I feel really happy holding BP at this price level and see it now as a long term and safe investment that is still paying a fair divi.......no reason why we cannot return to the good old days and double our price from here given some time.
One share now that I really need to sit on my sell finger.

Olmsey.......haha, if only! Not sure we will see 308 again but I will wait to see where to go next.

Millionaire.......I can assure you I am a rubbish trader too! I bought Tui on Friday at 308 and just sold this morning at 339.........just watch it fly now!!

Anditsgone.....Yes was happy with that but just sold now at 339. Just watch it continue to fly now !!! I always get a twitchy sell finger when I near a quick 10% profit.

Millionaire.......Saga is still my largest holding but I also trade a fair amount at times whilst holding my core holding for the longer term.
I agree long term this is a no brainer but nice to try and make a few extra bob with the occasional trade. That said my timing is not always great but Saga been good to me so far as I sold a fair chunk at 309 and got back in at 265.....sadly that is nit normally the norm.

Greg.....to be honest I did expect to be averaging down from my 308 purchase on Friday. I guess there is a long way to go right now and the slightest bit of negativity will see this crashing back down again. Good to see my other travel investments in Saga, Iag and Ezj ticking along nicely too but as I say this happiness can turn to tears in the blink of an eye.

Gregpeck........700p ffs man what are you smoking, those days are long gone for now! Maybe in 5 years time. Despite buying back in at 308 on Friday I am not convinced that we have seen the bottom yet and certainly not convinced that european holidays will resume before the autumn.
I will continue to average down if that is the direction we continue to go as yes I do agree this will be the bargain of the century one day.

Ammu.....I have to keep correcting you.....I sold out at 43.5p and bought back a small £10K tranch at 48.5p so I do still have a small interest here.....not that I feel the need to explain to you.
Why did I buy back you may ask? Fir one reason only, let the trend be your friend, despite many red days on the market CNA for whatever reason has continued that slow tick back up.
I am not convinced that the reason is positive and also a bit concerned at what the trading update may announce but I guess only time will tell.

Ammu.......I take it you are using your glass ball to say the interims will be positive?
That said it means little, look at Redrow last week, fabulous results with near record profits and the share price fell 6%.
It is all a lottery at present and the market makes no sense at times.

Gregpeck.......keep up to speed boy, I posted on Friday morning that my buy finger got twitchy at 308p and ended up with a little £5K’s worth.
I still think we may slip below the £3 mark if so I will continue to average down but 308 looked a reasonable starting point.......maybe I will regret that though come the 22nd.

Letstry.........My buy finger got a bit twitchy at 308. Just a small £5k so no big deal. I reckon you are correct and 250 is a possibility but Tui does not seem to follow any logic. I will either trade out on any jump or average down as it continues its fall.
It is a real game if roulette at the moment and sometimes logic does not make sense.

Masa........that is funny, my builders shares all blue. Maybe soon put some profits here if it drops below 300 which may not be too far off.

Masa........you also told me that when the price was 380. I am happy to wait a little longer.
