One thing for sure is that shares do not go up in straight lines. I expect a pull back will happen soon before the next leg up. I always think that is healthy as it gives new investors a chance to get aboard. I would rather see this tick on slowly at 2 or 3 % a week rather than 10% in a day.

Bid or no bid this is still a no brainer longer term. I watched a TV program a couple of months ago about Amazon and how the business was booming during lockdowns, it struck me how much cardboard packaging they used. I started to do some research as to who supplied them and that led me to DS Smith. At the time the share price was 330 and I decided not to buy as there were some great other opportunities out there. A couple of weeks ago I heard a rumour on the grape vine that the business was a target for a take over. That once again reminded me what a good business DS Smith really is.
I cannot see this selling for anything less than £5. If the rumours are unfounded I still consider this a decent long term hold.

Arthur........you see that is what buying into CNA does to you, it makes you grumpy.

They were never going to re instate the divi this year despite all the hype on here. This is going to be a long haul back and too many other good cheap recovery shares out there with the chance to double your money. Sadly CNA is not one of them right now.

Beetrootjuice.......we better all sell then tomorrow on your fears ;-) As far as I am concerned as with all my travel shares I am happy to hold till 2022 at the soonest. Little point in watching it every day. I would rather take a 150% profit than a 50% profit.

It beggars belief at times how folk expect to see instant gains in their investments. Just ask yourself why have you invested here? If like me it is because this is a rock solid Company making huge profits and no debt and their portfolio of new income generating products are growing month by month then maybe you will sit back, relax and enjoy the journey.

Charles.......I sold Carnival yesterday at a nice profit as I did not want to get into the funding scenario. I will sit on the fence there till the dust settles but one day it will be worth getting back in.
As for SAGA it is onwards and upwards. Let the trend be your friend.

Charlesrix........Carnival just announced a funding exercise. They fell 4% on the news today. SAGA is a different fish in the same ocean, the insurance side will keep the ships afloat till everything is back on an even keel.
