Nomad.........hardly surprising I am negative.....I lost £180K on it in the past and I could not see a way of recovering that loss any time soon. Those that bought around the 150p mark will never recover their money unless they sell up and move on, as I said earlier there are still some stonking bargains to be had where in short time you could double your money.....I moved most of my remaining holding here into travel stocks back in November and have no regrets. Still have a small holding here but to be honest I would be better off pishing into the wind!

NOmad......Dream on!! It is possible that the next bit of news will have this back into the mid 40’s.
This has become one of the worst managed companies out there right now, I really cannot understand how folk are still keen to waste time and money investing in this.
The FTSE is still full of screaming bargains and a good few still paying a reasonable divii too. Yet where are we with CNA? Wallowing around like a yacht in the doldrums.

Off topic but anyone having problems with their HBOS sharedealing account this morning......their system is ****e this morning, very slow to log on and if trying to trade everything going to negotiated trade only! Very frustrating

Another uninspiring RNS that tells us nothing new. So many cracking bargains out there ripe for investment yet I am still suffering holding a few of these.....why the feck do I bother? .
Those that talk of £1 soon or a divi payment really do live in cloud cuckoo land.

I think market in general will be pretty happy with this update. Onwards and upwards once things start moving again. USA will be back moving within the next few months. Hang on in there and look back next year.

I am starting to get excited about BIDS, In my day job I carry folk around in the back of an exec jet....a few months ago I had a conversation with some folk we were carrying on a transatlantic....BIDS came up in conversation, not prepared to divulge as that would be unfair but let us just say I am happy to be invested right now.

One gets the feeling there is something brewing big time here. Todays RNS supports my theory and BIDS are positioning themselves nicely for the good times ahead.
You pays your money and makes your choice but when that RNS drops that we have all been waiting for there will be no holding this beast back.
You have to be in to win and at this present level it has to be a pretty good longer term investments.

Just had a message yesterday from our favourite waitress in our favourite Majorca RIU hotel saying they were reopening on 7th May and taking loads of bookings.
Decided to top up again here.....I think it is the start of the long haul back to normality.

They plan to reduce from 27% to 5% over the next 10 years. No real issue, it is just a way of re balancing their investments. The money is needed elsewhere and the fact they are reducing in no way reflects any issue with the business. A good buying opportunity once the dust settles.

The whole market is down today on average 5%. Not PFC specific, just an ideal Loaded up a few K more at 120p

I expect a cracking update and a special dividend to be paid.
It appears every new build is selling very quickly and prices have risen nearly 10% in the past year. Not sure how rising cost of materials though have impacted this extra profit
Onwards and upwards for TW. I see this slowly creeping back to pre covid levels with ease. Buy and forget for 12 months is my strategy.

Not sure how how the market will take the no return to dividend. I think we may see a slight fall today giving a nice opportunity to either top up of for those that sold on the nice rise yesterday to get back aboard on the cheap.

Meaningful......they have not been charged because there is no case to answer! After 4 years it is time to move on and within the next week or so that is exactly what we will do.
Buy in any dips as this is only going one way from here.

Chester........I am asking if someone with a bit of savvy could actually put a price on what CNA will be worth once everything has been sold off. You cannot chuck money at a share saying this is a great buy as 2 years ago it was sitting at £2. A lot has happened in that time and before I re commit more of my hard earned cash this way I would like someone to come up with a market value.

Chester.........just to put you right I sold off 90% of my 250,000 shares at 43.5p as I saw better alternatives elsewhere......I do not regret that decision one bit but as I still have 10% of my investment in CNA I am still interested in how they can progress into the future.
At the moment all I see is bad will from management to the majority of the work force and also a keenness to sell off what I consider to be all the valuable oil assets.
After that what is left? I am still waiting for someone to tell me what they value the company at after all these assets are sold. The only reason I remain invested is that the share continues a slow move north even on bad news days but there will come a time when I have to admit defeat and move on.....Still too many stinking recovery sticks out there to languish too long here.
In the meantime I am sorry if some of my negativity upsets you but I think you will find these BB’s are for all to air their views be that positive or negative.

I get the feeling the actions of CNA top management will come back to haunt them one day.....I guess O’Shea will still be picking up his nice big bonus for shafting the rest of his staff. As in previous years the top management in CNA have done their best to ruin a top class business.

Aston.....nothing goes up in straight lines, some folk taking profit with 100% gains. I thought of doing the same but am happy to hold for a year. Why take a 100% profit when you can achieve 1000%. Patience is the key.....not timing the market but time in the market is what makes folk rich.

This is one of those shares where you should not get twitchy when you see a big daily gain like today. Just stop looking and come back next year.......the SFO inquiry had already been running 4 years and could either drag on for another 4 or indeed be wrapped up this week. Whatever happens we all know this is far far too cheap and there is no reason why in a few years time we will be back at £10. This year has been the best time ever for investing in buy and forget shares. I see this a bit like buying TW. A few years back at 4p to see it hit 220p a few years later. Patience is all that is required.
