Cocsure..............you can always dream but I think you are living in cloud cuckoo land.
At these levels the very least the company should have been doing is buying back shares.....they have not spent a penny! As for a divi it will be a ling time before you see that again.
I really cannot see why so many folk are wasting their time in here when there are so many great bargains to be had elsewhere.....even divi paying bargains too.
I took a £180K hit here when I sold out 18 months ago.....if I had stuck with it I may have recovered 25% by now. By reinvesting what I pulled out I am now 127% up on that. As I say there are bargains and there are dogs......this sadly proved to be the later for me!

Paddyboy....I have had the same problem in the past. Last time I sold some other shares that were doing OK to fund the purchase of the RI shares. I understand too that you can sell your rights once they appear on your account and hope that once the RI shares hit the market the shares possibly fall to such a level that you just buy back more shares. I never really like Rights issues as they generally force you into thinking you are picking up a bargain......quite often that is true but also the opposite.

As the saying goes it is not timing the market but time in the market.
In 5 years time you will be saying why did I not load up more at these crazy cheap prices.
Like the common flu Covid will not go away but neither will holidays abroad.
By next year we will all have learnt to live with it.

Up 10% in 2 days......one feels that some decent news to too far away.
This has been a long and at times painful haul but one of those shares where eventually our patience will pay dividends.
Once good news breaks I think this will go pop big time........in the words of Michael Kane, I only told you to blow the doors off!!

After reading the latest RNS I have decided to take a small position here. Sounds an interesting business with hopefully expanding sales and increasing profits.

All the builders have been out of favour and well over sold these past few months. I think last weeks Directors buys were enough of an incentive for me to start topping up again.
Everywhere you look their new builds are selling like hot cakes.....my local 700 house site sells everything as they are released.
To think this was well over £2 not too long ago I now see a steady rise back to those levels.

Northeao.......I had the same issue before in my Isa with the RI on IAG. I chose to sell some other company shares within my Isa to fund the purchase. That may be another way of taking up the rights which personally think is a no brainer and over the coming months will prove to be a bargain.

Convb.........hopefully you are doing the right thing but I git fed up with waiting. Probably driven by seeing a large director buy over at TW. I decided that looked too cheap so moved my money there. Hopefully recover my losses there quicker than waiting for a recovery here. It would help this if some directors dipped their hands in their pockets here too. Good luck.

Thats it.......just dumped today at a 15% loss. It seems we are going nowhere anytime soon. Too many bargains out there right now to leave my money marking time in here.

Recent Director large buys tell me it is time to top up. My own local TW building site of over 700 houses seems to be selling everything as soon as released. If I assume every other site is the same things must be looking good when the next trading update is released.

No notification yet from Halifax as to my entitlement to buy the rights.....anyone else having the same issue?

Alamo......Maybe a little pointer is that this is the only share that is blue today in my portfolio. Looks like a bad day on the market everywhere else.

Alamo......you forget TUI is huge in Germany too. Staycation is nit here for long....you just need to look at UK prices right now. For 3 nights in a cheapo hotel you can have a week in Majorca in a nice 4 star hotel. Despite rising bills etc folk will always find money for their week or two in the sun. I fly for a living and a couple of my ex colleagues fry with TUI and they tell me things are now starting to move again all with good load factors.
As I said previous, this will be a great opportunity to double your money within the next year or so.

I sold a few to fund the up coming rights. I still see this as a great recovery play and any chance to get in on the cheap via a RI has to be good news. In a couple of years you will have doubled your money if not more. Good luck and enjoy the flight.

Looks like the markets like the news. Fingers crossed this holds up today......much doom and gloom about the price pre opening but folk niw realise this is a great chance to grab a bargain.

Halifax are fecking useless!!

Tried to sell at opening through Halifax sharedealing but would not let me. Anyone else have that problem

Chester..........Aspers thankfully dumped this dog a long time ago so please don't worry about me. I told you months ago there were too many bargains out there to ignore.........I think you were laughing at me when I bought SAGA at 120p CCL at 1200p and TEK at 8p saying there were going to go bust?
You just concentrate on your own investments and do not worry about others. FUD.
