No I meant PI's. People like you and me. There's always posters admitting they were approached and bought into placings but couldn't say anything and it's getting more and more common with AIM listed shares these days.

3400M shares then for a m/cap of approx. £375M @ 11p and now 5200M shares so same m/cap would give a shareprice of 7.25p. This is the effects of dilution!!!! Sad really.

The reason why rumours of placings are often true is because PI's are approached by brokers to see if they want to participate. The PI's are sworn to confidentiality but nonetheless pass on the info to people llike BMD who then is free to put this out as a rumour on twitter or wherever.

Here the BOD's are leaving the door open to speculation by not keeping shareholders informed about developments at Balcombe. They could also have addressed the rumours with a "there won't be" or "there will be" a placing.

It looks like final sign off by the regulators is still required as well (as funding?).

If the testing is due to start during the last week of September and not next week that would explain the shareprice drop. However the onus is still on the management to inform the market of the proposed timeline and it shouldn't be left to the the local Parish Council to keep hungry and greedy shareholders informed of proceedings.

No need for posters to keep posting the earlier and now out-of-date news.

The management must be aware of the rumours/facts that appeared yesterday afternoon and it is very strange they did not bring out an RNS either before the info appeared on the Balcombe Parish Council website or at least yesterday afternoon when the news was spotted. Or even a RNS this morning before opening would have been in order.

Maybe they are trying to get some last minute funding sorted out

Page 10 compares Balcombe and Horse Hill.

The Balcombe horizontal drill is only in the Kimmeridge Upper Limestone zone I believe.

UKOG have only drilled a vertical well at Horse Hill. The drill cut through about 88ft of Kimmeridge at KL4 and slightly less at KL3. Balcombe has a 1714ft horizontal drill right through the upper Kimmeridge. Be good if it flows.

Have MATD ever drilled any wells in these Blocks which I believe are more centrally located in Mongolia whereas Blocks XX and XIX are nearer to the border with China.

I am now looking at the June presentation and I am probably going to be able to answer my own question. I believe that 3 wells have been drilled in Western Mongolia - which looks to be 2 in Block I and 1 in Block VII but these were nothing to do with MATD.

I am not holding here pre-drill results as this is about as wildcat as you could get but it will be a great result if they do hit oil.

Posters who are getting nervous and keeping on about the next drill before this one is finished are being very annoying and maybe should get wise to oil exploration and sit it out as there will be plenty of chances to get in here if they do hit but no mercy if they don't.

Looking back at the historical RNS's for the 2010/2011 drilling campaign it looks to me like all the previous drills were in Block XX (and possibly Block XIX too). Can anyone confirm whether any wells have ever been drilled in Blocks V (SL) and Block IV (WH) or are these completely new prospects that have full seismic but are an unknown quantity.

The MM's are still in a real mess with this one. There's till only 117M shares excluding Newmonts and they are split between AIM and TSX. As soon as the MM's are getting hold of any - and there's clearly not many being parted with anyway - they are snapped up and it just goes back to NT.

The shareprice is already 35% off the high of the day so how much further it may drop after today's super-rise is debatable. TSX now looks to be closing at CA$0.75c which is just under 4.50p.

I shall certainly buy more if it drops further as I think this has an excellent chance of re-rating just on today's news.

Nothing deeper than 250 metres - which makes SOLG's 1500 metre deep holes look like hard work - especially for the low grades.

All Newcrest did was take a 5% stake in SOLG. There wasn't any agreement and Newcrest can sell their stake and walk away any time. This is the real deal compared to that and Newmont will take over the reigns and progress this expertly as a huge mining conglomerate knows how to.

Looks like there'll be a bargain buy-in shareprice tomorrow thanks to the TSX. They finished on CA$0.07c which is about 4p equivalent - £6M m/cap.

Having made a great profit trading this earlier as I posted I have now looked into this some more and cannot believe how good this all is. Newmont will even take this right up to production and still leave Orosur with a 20% stake. SOLG's shareprice re-rated from 3p to 25p and then on up to 45p on much less of aq deal than this. All N
