Possibly the Canadians didn't like having to buy in at a 200%+ premium to the previous day's SP and will drag it down to buy in a bit cheaper or maybe the temptation to sell was just too great for some of the LTH's. Either way I expect this to go back up again - either later today or soon anyway.

That 50,000 trade at 5.085p is a buy - mine.

Looks like the SP is being dragged down by the Canadians.

Look at what happened to SOLG. Newcrest invested without tying themselves into a joint venture or anything like what has happened here and the shareprice re-rated from around 6p to as high as 45p over a few months. Compared to that this is the real business with Newmont committing to spend hard cash to gain a direct interest in the project.

If they can do horizontal wells for the Kimmeridge that could flow at 2000/3000 bopd.

I'm not the best person to give an opinion of long-term prospects as I tend to trade rather than invest, hence my profit this morning.

I posted earlier came out. This is suddenly a lot stronger now with Newmont virtually taking over and ready to take this all the way to production.

I can sell 100,000 at 6.235p compared to a buy price of 6.30p so the MM's are prepared to pay for them which is always a good sign.

Just can't buy any.

Wanting to buy 100,000 and kept dropping the quantity and finally got a live price for 5000.

It's the high grades that have attracted Newmont.

Notable results to date from 17 intercepts in 7 drill holes focused on expansion drilling at the APTA deposit are highlighted below and include numerous significant intervals at high grades, including:

17.76 g/t Au over 5.32 metres in MAP_54 (as previously announced);

This posted itself again before I'd finished writing. The Canadians may well rate this deal more than AIM had done so far. I remember a few years ago another dual-listed miner had a big rise on AIM and then went on to double-up again on the TSX.

This was 18p exactly one year ago and that was with 117M shares in issue. Including Newmont's private placement today there are now 146M shares.

£10M m/cap seemed to be the resistance point earlier though equally 10p shareprice has been mentioned on here earlier. That would be around a £15M m/cap though that is still a long way short of the £21M m/cap from last September.

Unfortunately the MM's still haven't got a clue how to play this today. One minute there isn't a buy price and then the next there isn't a sell price. They're all over the place.
