I could have got more but the SP was rising so fast I bottled it a bit. If I'd got my 3 slots of 200,000 at around 3p on opening than I could have maDe more like £18K BUT THEN

It's all a game really.

II are always the best for a quick buy on the bell but they kicked me back at 5 seconds past 8.00am (radio-controlled timing!) which was a bad sign. I managed 100,000 on my IG Spread betting account at 2.9073p but then they kept kicking me back for the next 10 minutes so all I could do was buy in at 25,000's on II and H/L but by then I was paying nearly 5p. I could have got more but the SP

But then I also sold some at way short of the top price and also was trying to sell from 7.25p all the way down to 6.20p but couldn't get a sell quote.

And the board here was so quiet. No posts before 8.00am which is so unusual.

Might help if you read today's RNS.

And before someone says I must be mad selling I had never heard of this share before today and I'd always rather have a profit in the bag than be stuck holding shares that may tank.

Well I'm out now with £4924 profit which is pretty good for 90 minutes work and that would have been 2 or 3 times that if I could have got in on opening. I finally managed 275,000 but had the cash to buy 600,000 on the bell.

I'll probably get back in if the SP drops enough - say sub 5p.

And before someone says

There hasn't been a sell quote for ages so the MM's are getting shares from somewhere despite there being none available at opening. Problem is when they do start giving a sell quote people will panic sell en mass for a while.

£8M m/cap already at 5.50p........not far to go. £20M m/cap seems more likely.

Looks huge news to me. Impossible to buy though. Newmont in at 5.4p...........

Personally I never hold any shares during a wildcat drill, especially in a largely unproven new frontier. This is the same, even though it's onshore and the drill costs are less than offshore equivalents.

I think many punters on here put forward quite a strong argument to hold shares during drilling with the attraction of the lower-risk Block XX drills to come but even that isn't going to happen now.

I won't worry about the drop. It will just make it easier and cheaper to get in if they hit oil at Snow Leopard - and if they don't then the same at the next drill.

Like cashman007 i've sold out. Except I sold a couple of days ago in the low 0,40p's and have now bought back in with a bigger amount than before ready for the next leg up.

Please keep these informative posts coming. This has had it's initial rise, consolidated and is now ready for the next step up. I suppose 0.50p would seem to be the next logical target.
