Even the desperate management ramping looks destined to fail and it's never good to be holding a share that the management have to make excuses for and try and bluff their way out of an ever-decreasing shareprice. I prefer it when the RNS is the other way round and a speeding ticket is issued. Not that I hold any shares here anyway.

Besides the m/cap at 30p is still a staggering £300M+ which is far, far too high anyway.

I would now give GBP a very, very small chance of getting a JV/farmout now. I expect Stellar will properly drop this soon.

As I posted recently I expect that GBP will have to commit to the 3D seismic on the Gemsbok prospect at their own expense and then see if they can attract a partner.

The price of oil is screaming up but UKOG, ANGS, and others are all hugely down from where they should be.

Zak kept plugging away at the poor reaction of the shareprice to the flow test results but I think that most people fully realize the controlling negative influence that Bergen hold here and will continue to hold until they finally dispose of the whole of their holding. Shame as they still have a lot of shares to dump and these things take time. Otherwise all good.

Very good interview. Up to 100,000 boepd at full production. 350 million barrels recoverable (so far). Slow re-rate due.

The full entitlement is unlikely to be taken up as this is such a small discount to the previous trading price. Not sure why DW didn't just do a placing. Rights issues are usually at a big discount to attract takers.

Assuming all entitlements are taken up under the Offer, the Company will issue approximately 795 million new shares, resulting in a total of approximately 6,366 million shares on issue.

There were 1,137 million shares in issue when they acquired the Alaskan asset in 2015 and the shareprice peaked as high as 1.20p back then so effectively nearly 6 times dilution in just over 3 years and still no oil to show for it - just a lot of acreage that costs a mint to maintain.

Does anyone know what is happening to PB's company's holding. Is there anyone there to contribute their share or is 88E carrying that for them too?

Without shareholder approval to issue more shares i.e. do a placing this company will be gone overnight. The failure to get the 2 resolutions passed to allow this at the last AGM was quite serious and as the RNS says has left them dependant on the major shareholder who are now refusing any more funds.

I'm not a holder here but the existing shareholders had better hope for approval or else its curtains.

I see PVR has held on to all its gains and is now moving up again today. This should be nearer 2.50p just to stay in line.

I think Angus need to go back and do a 30 - 50 day full test in the same way UKOG are doing. Does anyone know if there are plans to do this?

Bearing in mind that Broadford Bridge didn't flow at all this is a great result. It sounds like they can get past the water problem easily enough. I think that it's just Bergen weighing down the shareprice here as this is way under-valued compared to UKOG.

The problem here is that if the Chariot drill is a duster, which is quite likely especially taking into account Chariot's disastrous history of failures in the area, then Namibia will not be the place to be and any hope of a farm-out will disappear completely. GBP needed to have got this sorted long before the drilling started. Now it looks like it's going to be too late.

To me it's looking increasingly unlikely that GBP have managed to attract a farm-out/JV via Stellar. It's been with them for 9 months now and to be honest with the total lack of success offshore Namibia so far the best time would have been before the drilling started. There has already been another duster, which is certainly not going to help GBP's prospects.

It is quite possible that the conclusion will be that GBP will have to go it alone to complete 3D Seismic over the Gemsbok prospect and then try again for a farm-out to pay the drilling costs. While they have some cash I doubt they have enough to pay for the 3D in which case they will have to raise some more.

All just my thoughts.

Very strange that there is no mention of the farm-out/JV. Looks like that has been knocked on the head.

Also why the late response. Total nonsense. No oil is no oil. But then it's apparently really great that these drills can be drilled so quickly as it cuts the cost of a duster considerably. That is good news.

The MM's will have to raise the sell price now to get some shares.

No buys going through because the MM's don't seem to have any shares. I can get 5000 maximum without going to NT for 2.35p. My IG ISA which always seems to have shares available at a premium will let me buy 200,000 at 2.4998p or smaller quantities like 10.000 at 3.85p. Maybe this is a sign of where the SP is heading.

Looking at only 14 posts so far here today a lot of people are going to be missing out on this - especially with the way the MM's up the price with almost every buy.

2.25p to buy but going to NT and 2.22p to sell.
