RE: Was a buy20 Dec 2018 16:00
Yeah, beep, and I'm behind the other trade today. Last time this hit 1.50p/1.60p I tried to talk the SP back up with lots of positive posts and then I ended up paying 2.17p for a top up. Now I've got wise to the futility of fighting the drop and I've shut up and have got my top up at 1.575p instead.
The only news I want to hear from Big Dish management is that they have started signing up the planned 6000 restaurants in 2019. And I don't think that is an unreachable target either - in fact it seems rather modest. 500 new outlets a month will hit that target in 1 year. I certainly do not want to hear they have adjusted that target lower as that would be very stupid. Not only is it reachable but as far as the UK goes that figure could increase by quite a few multiples if the company get a move on.
jsmith23 - I see from looking back through the posts that you have been here since early August and would have paid much more than the current shareprice. We're all in the same boat really. It's annoying and I feel could have been avoided if the management had speeded things up but that's how it is. I keep topping up but every time I do the shareprice falls further and I fear it will continue to do so until we have an update and even then it will need to be positive and outline the plan to expand in the UK as quickly as possible. As more restaurants start to sign up the shareprice should start to increase.
Table Pouncer seated 127,000 diners in Bournemouth last year and there are on average about 50 restaurants live on the site in the town every day. I did read somewhere that they had signed up more restaurants than this in Bournemouth so there may be a difference in the figures between total sign ups and live offers so signing up 6000 restaurants may not necessarily lead to there being 6000 restaurants live on the website/app every day but even so the potential is still quite staggering and as this starts to take off around the country and the number of outlets increases many of the restaurants who sign up but don't overly bother to put up some discounts will start to take note. The figures will speak for themselves. It's just numbers. 50 live outlets = 127,000 diners: 6000 live outlets = 15,000,000 diners.
But then the figures don't mean anything until they get started on signing them to the website/app.
