That's the short-term funding sorted out.

I can't see the point of GEX rushing to get the prospectus approved now that all of the other funding is sorted as they won't need to hand over the money for the new well(s) until the transaction is given Ministerial consent from the Northern Territory Department of Mining and Energy - and we know how long that can take!!! Even if the prospectus does get approved (and that is not guaranteed with the sloppy management here) they can still hold back for the cash and then maybe they can raise it at multiples of the current share price.

For now the worry of a small placing has gone.

I'm not saying that this company are any worse at communication than the rest. Most of the AIM listed companies are bloody dreadful but it is noticeable that the ones that do communicate regularly generally have much happier boards and have a much higher share price and m/cap. It's just a disappointment that this company isn't one of the better ones.

Great prospect and management but it's just a shame that the communication is so poor. There was the RNS on 27th October - "Diamond Drilling Commenced at Paranaíta Gold Project" but since then not a single word of how the drilling was progressing, when it was completed and when the drill results and assays may appear. Good communication from the management makes this so much easier but it rarely exists which is a shame.

1064 million shares in issue gives a m/cap of £32M which is rather high considering that "Amigo has not identified or agreed any specific investment opportunity nor made any investment" as yet. Well done to those that got in here on the 19th January when the new direction was announced.

"The Placing will result in the issue of 3,714,285,714 new ordinary shares ("Placing Shares"), representing approximately 36% of the issued share capital as enlarged as a result of the Proposals." So new shares in issue will be 10,316 billion as against the pre-raise 1.3 billion which might scupper the valuation somewhat.

I don't think that the Prospectus is done yet, let alone approved so they can't raise anything yet anyway. By the time it's approved this could be 50p.

The share price moved quickly up yesterday and it has done the same today. This is probably due to the low number of shares in issue. Also AH and W have about 25% of the total shares in issue. Blimey they could be quite wealthy if they can just get this up and running now.

This should be straightforward now: preparations, sign a rig contract, mobilise rig and then off we go

Meanwhile my holding has gone from 75% down to into profit in 2 days (though I did wisely buy a few more yesterday to bring my average down).

It's a pity there are so many tiny trades clogging up the system. I don't know where they have come from but they are very annoying.

This is re-rating much faster than I expected. Maybe some targets are in order. With the current 127 million shares in issue:

10p = £12.7M m/cap

20p = £25.4M m/cap

30p = £38.1M m/cap

40p = £50.8M m/cap

80p = £101.6M m/cap.

Any or all of these targets are possible.

By the way, for all of the silly posters who are now using a potential placing for their deramping, the way this is likely to re-rate any placing will just give an enormous extra buying opportunity on the way up.

Just to continue from my previous post, common sense would say that Georgina should get the first well which is Hussar re-entered, extended and see how it goes. If it all goes to plan and the helium and hydrogen are there as predicted and flow to good rates than they have proof of concept and they can then make plans to get further wells re-entered and drilled. And by then, as long as the Hussar re-entry is a resounding success, this will be a completely different beast with a much higher share price and m/cap.

Just my thoughts.

Great start today after yesterdays big initial rise. It's been a rough time here for a long time so a steady re-rate will calm the nerves and let the shareholders get back into a profitable position.

Personally I can't see any point in them rushing off to secure Mt Kitty and the other additional wells. Hussar will occupy much of this year and then Mt Winter will be the rest of this year and into 2027 so why look too far ahead. Plus they will need approval so why even bother with them for now. Surely they can just sit on it. After all no-one else is after these wells.

I saw yesterday that another of the derampers of the past few months - TheMagnacarta - who some on here thought might even be TW, completely changed his tune yesterday and even posted the following:

"Everybody wrote this off, they not laughing now.

I included thought this was a dead donkey. I wouldn't be surprised to see 10 p today and 15 tomorrow."

In the interview AH says that the $25M is to fund Hussar, Mt Winter and Mt Kitty plus any other activities that they want. I didn't think that Hussar would be anywhere near that sort of cost alone. So the first 3 wells are all funded with no dilution. Lets hope they get the first one re-entered and that it is a success.

Of note is that HE1 had a £100M plus valuation both before drilling as well as after the successful flow test. GEX is still £7M. Also I would suggest that GEX have a more accessible prospect in a very safe environment with at least 4 follow up wells. This has got to re-rate hugely now that the funding is all sorted.

I don't think that many here expected such a big funding package.

They are not handing $25M over to GEX silly. It is being spent on the project.

HE1 raised £16M prior to their first drill and a whopping £32M before they successfully hit and flowed Helium during which time their shares in issue went for 500 million on IPO to 3402 million shares prior to the successful 4th drill.

GEX had 97 million shares in issue on listing and 127 million in issue as of today and with no further dilution pre-Hussar drilling and testing.

There are going to be a lot of very happy LTH's here - ie. holders from the time of the initial listing. Personally I have averaged down further today so I could easily see my holding back in profit today which is great news as I've been holding since July 2024 (and under water for just about the whole time).

After a very sticky first 90 minutes the market has finally realised that this is indeed huge news and a massive re-rate is in progress. Plus the higher the share price goes the less the worry of the Mt Kitty funding - not that the prospectus is finalised yet anyway.
