just seen that too....not sure what to make of that. is it an article sponsored by those with a short agenda? is it aoi are having second thoughts as kenya now looking positive again? is kenya just a cluster **** now?
who knows? however, i'm always suspicious of these type of negative spin articles that never give any real detail.
Perhaps another interesting development....

EPRA can't kick the can down the road forever. They will need to make a decision, positive or negative, at some point soon. Considering Tullow worked with EPRA to revise the FDP, they shouldn't have any objections to approving it. Unless there is outside political influence from higher up of course. What is still unclear though is why did EPRA recently bring in consultants in this regard and what is their mandate. Has to be a reason .....
Unlike you I don't have any special information ..... I just research what is in the public domain and post the info here. These articles must make you really nervous about your short. Just think about that morning in the near future when you wake up to the Kenya RNS and the share price has risen over 30% before you even get a chance to try close it when the market opens. Enjoy your weekend and I'm off back to ignoring you.

"slashes dividend in effort to shrink debt" and they still advance Tlw a loan of $400mln ?
Supercooper this from the RNS is why and makes a lot of sense for Glencore:
"The facility will be available to draw for 18 months and proceeds will be used for liability management of Tullow's senior notes maturing in March 2025. The interest on the facility will be Term Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR) plus 10% on drawn amounts.
Tullow is also pleased to announce that it has entered into oil marketing and offtake contracts with Glencore for Tullow's crude oil entitlements from the Jubilee and TEN fields in Ghana and the Rabi Light entitlements in Gabon which run concurrently with the notes facility agreement."
Sounds positive

Does make me laugh ..... we drop 2% and suddenly we have the usual suspects posting that the sky is falling on pour heads. This share moves 5% up and down a few times a day. Only 3 weeks to the TLW 2023 results presentation and less than 2 weeks till the Kosmos results. Not long to wait now.
Jm0205 ... welcome back .... you've been very quite since you posted this last week on Friday, as I guess your short wasn't going very well.
"With the usual Friday sell off. This will finish week in red. Probably low 28's. I would dump now and buy back cheaper and try to gain a few shares."
Perhaps you meant this Friday???
Fact check: "If a Kenya deal was close - then it would be a closed period for director buys."
False. We are in a closed period already, as the 2023 results are announced on the 6th of March.
