Thinking about it ... I think they hold some of Tullow's bonds so I hope they don't have any inside information about another delay .... really don't want to see another panic sale :-(

"2025 Notes Up 10 Points to 65" leads me to believe this is from an old article as they've been higher than that for a while now (around 80% today).

I'm really optimistic about Tullow's future and holding for the £1 plus range, as I think there is a very real possibility that this may happen .... that said.... I'm no expert though and not very knowledgeable with regards to the financial markets

Anyone know why you can only see the 2022 and 2025 bonds listed now....a while ago I could see the 2021 bond as well but seems to have dropped off the listings and Tullow's website?

Azavalor now hold 6.012% which is 85,055,406 shares and the shorts are 7.35%, which is roughly 103,973,305 shares. That's a lot of shares to buy back. Just hope Azavalor aren't planning on selling theirs to the shorters!

"Analysts at Canaccord Genuity have lowered their target price on exploration and production outfit Tullow Oil from 33.0p to 20.0p and dropped their rating on the stock from 'hold' to 'sell'."

They look even more stupid now than on the day they announced this......

There seems to be very little mention of Varde on here even though they have the biggest short position on Tullow. Possibly as they haven't changed position for some time now. I think it'll get interesting when they start closing .... did a rough calculation that they're at least £3 million down overall on Tullow shorts at the current price (increasing to £5 million at 40p). Their 2.85% short represents just over 40 million shares, so should get interesting when they start having buying back.

I'm no forensic analyst, but this looks suspiciously like an attempt to stop the share price going over 35p to me.... 3 of the sells for 100,000 placed within a minute of each other at 0.5p intervals.... Hmmmmm

Yes I noticed that too ... seems the derampers that wanted to by back in at 20p have finally realised that it ain't gonna happen and the shorters are probably too busy trying to work out how they can close without loosing their shirts :-)

Wonder how many had stop losses at 29 point something and saw their shares hoovered up this morning......?

I don't see much mention of Värde on this bulletin board .... they have the biggest short at 2.85%, of which 1.79% was probably taken out sub 20p. Can't see them making too much from their position either. I understand they probably hedge the short against something else to cover, however I don't understand why they don't close when the share price drops (e.g. when it went to 14p not so long ago)? To me it looks like they hold regardless of what's happening hoping the company will go bust, but surely it's clear now that Tullow is not going bust.

If I tell you it's Friday the 12th tomorrow does that help....?
