Maybe, maybe not ... but a £1.5 bn valuation to me is achievable and that puts us at 100p a share. So think there's still an excellent chance to double my current investment. Obviously anything can happen, but the same applies to all shares. For example, who'd have guessed in 2019 that BA wold make a loss of over £7.4bn in 2020.

Time will tell .... let's see what happens.

I'm going to say at least in the 50's by the end of the week....

When oil hit $50 a barrel everyone celebrated as Tullow was saved and when oil hit $68 a barrel everyone was over the moon. Now oil has dipped from $68 to $63 and the world is ending. Human psychology is an amazing thing .... this share is moving 10 to 20% just on people panicking. Over the past year if I had the funds to top up every time this dipped like this I'd have made a lot of money. For me this drop is not based on anything that has changed and the bond prices tell the true story. Everyone has to make their own decisions and do what's right for them, but I'm holding.

I think you're conveniently forgetting the fact that the share price has doubled since Rahul came on board ....

That's a big reduction ... if there was blood in the water the shorters would be increasing .... I think the only one left on the planet who still thinks it's a good idea to short Tullow is Happy......

Funny thing is this Happy ... if the shorters agreed with you they'd be increasing their short positions. However, since the 23rd of February we've seen only 2 increases (0.23% and 0.05%) and several larger reductions. You keep shorting .... the rest of us will keep making profits.

to think that Jefferies paid someone to come up with this forecast.....

Sorry might of got over excited when I saw that...now back to buy 110 sell 102.... but did go blue so must of been some good buying activity

JMAX .... I don't use them either. Learnt the hard way. Bought Barclays shares after the credit crunch for 98p and put a 96p stop loss on them. Next day it triggered before the market opened and the share went on to open 10% up. So now I just nervously hold while the games are played.

Be interesting to know how many people have had their stop loss triggered (or maybe sold) in the past few days in the low 50's, but have been unable to buy back in at an increased stake?

Really is laughable Happy..... oil still well over $60..... Tullow plans based on $55 oil.... at least half their oil is hedged.....they survived 2020 at ridiculous oil prices..... they're doing just fine now .... this is another panic sale jyst like on the news of the RBL delay by a month on the 27th of January......I guess everyone needs to do what's best for them but the doomsday scenarios are ridiculous!

@Ronsocks it matters a lot ... there are tens of thousands of PI investors (possibly millions) out there that look at the top risers and fallers every day on various sites. When they see a share in the top ten risers they often buy as people always chase the money. There are so many shares out there that have risen to ridiculous heights based on this alone .... just have to look at GameStop recently and the likes of Tesla. I want this share to do well and it has been beaten almost to death over the past year, so we should be championing our cause at every opportunity and milking the positives.

I'm glad I only woke up at 8:30 this morning :-)

I take that back about this being a stupid website. They've corrected it and TLW shows as the 2nd top riser in the FTSE 250 on this website now. Maybe it's a good thing that they only updated it today, as probably would of been in top fallers yesterday and the day before ;-)
