How do we get this stupid website to show Tullow as being in the FTSE 250? Still doesn't show and we should be in the Top Risers today. Annoying!

The shorters managed to miss out on increasing their positions at 66p .... :-)

Me too ... but seems we're still being played like cheap fiddle and people panic sell ...

I held during the infamous great dip of January 27th where we crashed down from 35p to 25p .... feeling confident to keep on holding .... 90p and beyond .... tally ho ....

Aircooleddude .... a quote from you from December last year .... seems you pop up with these pearls of wisdom every down day ...

I predicted 29-30p year end a few days ago. For those that think they are going to wake up one morning and TLW has shot up 20% to then stay there, sadly I do not think this will happen. There are way too many market forces at play with the virus continuing to wreak havoc across the world. I do think TLW will bounce back eventually, but it's months/years, not days/weeks. Too many rose-tinted glasses here I feel...

I held from 38p all the way down to 14p and back again ..... a dip down from 66p to 56p isn't going to get me to sell ... I still think this will be over £1 at some point in the not too distant future ... GLA

Huge is very subjective ... 160,774 shares ... not a lot in the grander scheme of things .... I suspect some poor unfortunate PI had his stop loss triggered and his shares got hoovered up....

Does anyone know why you get the same trading volume showing on both sides of the L2 console? For example I can see the following at the moment and surely it can't be coincidence that a buyer and seller picked the exact same number of shares to sell:

Sell: 16:34 482,772 59 Buy: 60.24 482,772 16:34

Or if anyone knows a good website that explains this it'd be appreciated. Thanks

This might not be the right forum to be asking for expert opinions :-)

The transactions in those 2 RNS are dated 10th and 11th of March. So that was last week and we haven't seen any changes in the shorts.

You just have to look at the TLW share chsrt to see why. This has gone up every day since the 1st of February. At some point there will always be some profit taking and a dip. What has realistically changed since yesterday......answer is nothing..... we're still in the FTSE 250, oil price is still almost $70, etc, etc.
You just have to ride it out if you're planning to hold long term, as these dips are impossible to predict. I'm holding like I've done for the past year each time it's dipped.

Whatever they hedged their Tullow short against must be flying ..... or maybe they still haven't come to terms with the magnitude of their loss ..... :-)

Hard to tell ... seems to take off around 15:00 these days..... but what I'm liking a lot is that we seem to be constantly holding the previous days gains .... it may drop a few percent on the day from the daily high, but doesn't eat into the previous days gain, which is creating a nice steady upward trend.....

London Stock Exchange now shows us in the FTSE 250 ..... whooooooooooo hooooooooooo :-)

But this stupid website doesn't show us as in the top FTSE 250 risers today....... grrrrrrrr

Tullow has gone from 7p to 60p..... thats nearly 10x its low... could still go from 60p to £2.50 or even higher.... we'll see what happens and I'm holding to find out.....

Now I'm excited....yesterdays buying action wasn't shorts closing it seems.
