You say you've held for a year, so assume you have at least 100% profit...maybe even 300 to 500%. Why are you worried about the fact that this only went up 2% today. More importantly why do you think its on a downward trend if you say you're not experienced.
Holding for a year and joined a week ago to tell us the share is on a downward trend. I'm calling bs on this one.

I think we'll see news and traction on Friday when we actually join it. I think possibly Tullow are keep it low key as it's results day. Also, judging by the number on this board who didn't know about it this morning, I think a lot of people are unaware of the news as the RNS was at 5:30 and no one was expecting this change.

Tullow Oil (UK, 0150080) will be added to the FTSE 250 Index, and removed from the FTSE SmallCap Index.



All changes are effective from 12 March 2021.

Thanks for the interesting analysis. I'm not very knowledgeable with regards to all this, however I did have a thought. Is it possible Rahul wants to push out the date so he can continue with his 10 year plan and not have to deal with this every 18 months, as the oil price will go through highs and lows during this period. I'd be interested to know if you think this could be a possibility? Thanks

If PI's are holding most of the TLW shares and we're all holding for 100p plus, this is going to get very, very interesting I think. Shorts can't ignore these rises forever and who are they going to buy the shares back from?
