That's a difficult question .... hard not to be greedy, however I can't afford to hold my top up long term. I'd like 60p but can't realistically see that happening before the end of August given it's summer holiday season. Unless there was a Kenya or Guyana RNS of course. Think I'd be happy to sell at around 55p I guess. Although, I am starting to think I need to try and play the same games that everyone else is playing, as for example we've very recently gone from 52p to 49p twice which is a quick 5% swing. That said .... don't think I have the ability to predict the small swings, so would just be guess work. The 60p to 40p and back again have happened so often now even a blind man can see these.

I was on holiday for the month of July and was spending too much time on this BB arguing with fools, so took a break from posting. I am happy to report that my top up at the airport on the 1st of July for 43.87p has basically paid for my entire holiday ... well it would do if I sold it, however think we're headed up so going to hold it a bit longer and hopefully it'll pay for my next one too.

Why not do one better and go short ..... come on .... put your money where your mouth is.....

Don't shoot the messenger, I only repeated what was said in the AOI updates, so you'll need to take that up with Kieth Hill.

But do people really think Rahul is going to dilute his 10 million shares. Come on ... get real .... why would he do that??? Especially given the fact that after the merger we'll have over a billion of CNE cash and after the Kenya deal we'll probably have well over another billion. Anything is possible, but dilution ..... don't think so.

Think you'd be crazy to get out before the merger....has the potential to be a major player in the O&G market in Africa. Also, don't forget about the dividend promised after the merger. If you're picking shares up on the dips below 50p that would be a little icing on the cake. I never planned to hold this long and not sure how long I can afford to hold, however ideally don't want to sell before at least the end of this year as there's too many positives.

Also, all the criticism of Rahul on here has suddenly stopped again as we're back over 50p. While the share price currently isn't where we want it, I think Rahul has a clear plan and delivered on everything he has promised so far. So for me it's a case of watch this space, as I'm pretty sure he wants to make millions from his stock options so won't be doing anything stupid or that is going to negatively impact the share price.

Even with me being the eternal optimist this is seriously testing my patience. So much to be positive about but yet we're flat lining.

I know ..... patience, patience, patience!

So at some point the artificial supply will end and the reserves will need to be replenished (over 125 million barrels). Sounds like they think we'll have high oil prices till the end of 2023, as they don't plan to start replenishing till 2024. Can't help thinking that this is going to backfire on them, as surely it's just going to prop up high demand for longer as that's a lot of oil to replace. Not to mention the sudden shock to the market when they stop releasing oil and the fact that the US are now trying to control the oil price which can't make OPEC+ too happy either.

Was also hoping someone would answer this....however guess we shouldn't be too surprised no one on this BB is admitting to being wise ;-)

I've also tried to understand these and my take is that they are just reporting sales and purchases of the shares, together with any increase or reduction in short positions. As per the definition of cash settled derivatives below, I assume these are transactions they have place on behalf of someone i.e. as in when you ask your broker to buy you 100 shares. If anyone wants to correct me or expand on this I'd be glad to get more info.

If you're going to beat yourself up about it, rather beat yourself up about the fact that you didn't when the price was 7p. You can't predict the future, so no point in dwelling on what ifs. The past is history, so you need to focus on the present.....at 50p now with a Kenya RNS ndcall the other potential events taking it to 75p plus it's a great buy, however at 50p with a duster in Guyana and the Kenya deal falling through it wouldn't be the smartest buy. So the question is what do you do? However, whatever you do decide to do, you need to be really sure you can accept either outcome as they are both real possibilities.

You can decide which you prefer, however the way I see things now is that there's presently way, way more upside and potential than there ever was when were at 60p. Just got to have the patience of a Saint...... plus a little slush fund to buy on these dips and make a quick 10 to 20%.

That's the beauty of this.....no one believes anymore that Kenya will ever happen. So there's no preparation or planning for it to happen by those goingvlong and short. Therefore, when it happens (and I say when not if) it's going to be explosive.....

I was referring to the people saying we were going back to 30p. No way that was ever going to happen. As to the posting about a strike, you'd have to be sceptical of that. It's from an anonymous source randomly posted on a bulletin board. So while it would be nice if it is true, no way of knowing if it's true or ust desperation from someone sitting on a loss.
