We're getting an RNS...... could be that it just gives another date provided by the Kenyan government. We'll see soon enough.

I think it's 12 million shares. Roughly 1.5 billion shares in issue so 1% is 15 million shares.

This is not the week for profit taking......I can feel it in my bones! Got a good feel about the 6th of November Kenya deadline.

But then again.....you know me.....probably still be rambling about Kenya happening any day now on my death bed....lol

Even if nothing is coming we all knew sub 30p was ridiculously cheap. Nothing really changed to cause it to drop except sentiment. You could see the sentiment change on this board a few weeks back .... supporters and long term holders ****ging off Rahul and Tullow. Played right into the hands of the shorters and the MM's. They hoovered up your shares on the cheap. Don't care what anyone says, rumour and sentiment counts a lot.

I think we're really going to be smiling by Christmas!

Market in general is up today, but the Kenya government deadline for sign off is Sunday this week. At 40p you'd be crazy not to take a punt. We could also be seeing a mini short squeeze with the shorts closing who took out shorts under 40p. Whatever the reason, nothing quite like a 5% rise to cheer me up.

I thought why not, as this forum has become a bit boring with only a few haters and tumbleweeds on here with nothing being posted. So here's something to think about:

Hmmmm .... in protest at the blatant share price manipulation I'm not posting on here again till we're over 50p.

If I'm not mistaken we had 3 blue finishes this week and the share price seems to be on an upward trend again. Also, oil looks set to cross the $100 a barrel mark again. So maybe the stars are going to finally align and we'll see the Ghanaian gas and Kenya deals announced soon. In hindsight it is better that they weren't announced during the previous month or two when oil and the share price was going through a bit of a slump. Much better for the news to drop when there is a lot more positivity over oil and the share price is we'll over 50p. I don't think it's impossible to be over 50p by the end of this coming week.

Far too much bloody moaning going on at the moment. No matter how much you moan it's not going to increase the share price.... but may actually do the opposite. If you're sitting on a loss you need to blame yourself for your bad choices and not Rahul. You should of known what the risks were when to decided to invest. If you've lost faith quit moaning and sell. The plain truth is Rahul is not that concerned about the current share price as his share incentives run till 2025 and he couldn't sell any shares now without crashing the share price anyway.

The Kenyan government set the 6th of November for their review deadline. Rahul cannot force them to make the decision quicker and there is a possibility they may even extend it again. The deadline is less than a month away now, so just think happy thoughts and be patient for another few weeks.

Honestly, I think patience is key here. There's less than 3 months till the end of the year and we're very likely to get a Ghanaian gas deal and a Kenya partner before the year ends. Also, as winter bites we're probably going to see an energy crunch spiking prices. We've waited a long time for this so now's not the time to give up hope.

I don't think there's a lot Rahul can do about the share price at the moment and believe he's disclosed what he can. Doing business in Africa often takes longer and can be frustrating. Also, people sometimes say he should buy shares to prop up the share price. I think if he bought shares at the moment it'd be a huge red flag, as it would mean there's no conflict of interest and nothing about to happen that could prevent him from doing so.

So I'm waiting patiently, well OK, waiting rather frustratedly for the end of the year and hoping for a nice Christmas present form TLW.

If I misjudged you then I apologise......however if you look for articles you'll see a lot where Ruto says he's prepared to buy Russian oil to help keep the cost of fuel down. So I highly doubt he's suddenly going to tell every Kenyan they need to buy an electric car.

Nothing like a 6% rise to bring out the the good old shorters.
