Year = Approx £1,095m (almost twice the market cap)

PS: Remind us what you sold your Tullow shares for. I'm sure even at this abysmal share price you'd have almost doubled your money if you'd held instead of constantly banging on about your equity raise.

I hope so....getting brutal at the moment. Price is ridiculous.

He has been so conservative with his forecasts since taking over at Tullow.... then 2 months till the end of 2022.....he states....if oil averages $95 till the end of the year we we'll hit $250m free cash flow.....booooooooom..... $79 oil.

Another pummelling on the horizon.... :-(

One thing to remember ..... every time one of the institutional shorts extends their short it is a 2 way bet. There is another party gambling that the share price will go up. Only one of them can be right.
The institutional shorts are a funny bunch .... they only seem to short when the price is down. Basically no increases in shorts on the drop down from 60p. To me shows they're just guessing. Just like everyone else. Also, none of them closed sub 10p in 2020 .... so what secret or special knowledge of Tullow do they have .... not a lot I'd say.

JAMX over the years I've been on this board I've seen a lot of recommendations of other stocks ....... some would of made me a lot of money and some would of lost me a lot of money. However, I don't take candy or stock tips from strangers, so no I didn't.

I rest my case...... definitely childhood issues.

JMAX do you just like to be negative for the sake of it, have an agenda or some issues from your childhood that you need to address. Yes, we all know the share price performance at the moment is dreadful. I'm raising a valid argument that the market in general is down, as is Tullow. Might have something to do with the upcoming changes in capital gains tax and certainly has a lot to do with our useless government. If you disagree that is fine and you are entitled to your opinion, however would be nice if you could debate it rather than just state the obvious or be negative for the sake of it.

Is the fact that despite a big drop in the Tullow share price we're still in the FTSE 250, indicative that we're performing equally badly as the rest of the market and a lot of the negative sentiment aimed at Tullow at the moment is unjustified?

I think you're right JMAX. I checked on the Cbonds website and they have a minimum settlement amount of $200k.

I'm no expert, but going to stick my neck out and give my 2 cents worth. I think the bonds are traded in $100k chunks, so not for us mere mortals.

It looks like the bonds are at around 70%. Does that mean Tullow could buy the bonds back now at a discount (i.e. a 30% discount on the debt) or doesn't it work that way?

I don't think Kenya is BS, however the markets do. Getting stuff in Africa takes time and is not like doing business in the West. The recent elections won't have helped at all. My opinion is obviously worthless in the scheme of things, however if Kenya does come of it'll be amazing it is definitely not pried in and will take the markets by surprise.

There is also still the potential of a Ghana gas agreement before the end of the year, as IR have confirmed to Adieuk. Again, this is Africa, so timelines could easily slip. However, I live in hope and it'd be nice to get it before Christmas.

For me it's fatigue.....I'm getting bit tired of waiting for the Ghana gas RNS and the Kenya RNS and am very tired of seeing the share price manipulation. We only seem to react to the price of oil when it drops and when it's up we're told we don't benefit because of hedges......hmmmm.

I can't hold forever, but don't think now is the right time to sell. I'll give it till end of March next year and re-evaluate. Hopefully have Ghana gas and Kenya sorted by then with the additional new wells online. Time will tell......

The only thing that is down is sentiment and that's all that matters at the moment. Until that changes we're in the doldrums. And yes a good RNS will change that.

BOIL the stock that you of course haven’t been ramping at all, while complaining about people ramping Tullow. Well there's one born every minute, so sure you'll have a lot of company over at BOIL. It'd be laughable if it wasn't so tragic.

Still, I wish you all the best and reiterate that it's foolish to **** off a stock you hold......whatever the F.A.C.TS
